We went to Basoglu Balik expecting a good fish dinner, but the impressions were unpleasant. From the very entrance, the waiters literally picked us up and led us to the fish showcase, actively imposing different options and trying to get as many as possible. I had to stop them all the time. The fish was immediately taken to the kitchen, no one weighed it in front of us. After that, they sat me down at a table and gave me one menu for two. Neither the menu nor the display case indicated the cost of the fish, which raises questions. We were immediately offered water, we refused and ordered tea and salad. But after a minute, the waiters brought a large bottle of water on their own anyway and immediately poured it into glasses, without even specifying whether we needed it. The salad with avocado turned out to be really delicious - perhaps the best of the whole evening. We ordered 8 small octopuses, 6 king prawns, 8 pieces of mutton, salad with avocado and 2 cups of tea. Most likely, that water was also included in the bill. As a result, everything came out to almost 7000 liras, which is absolutely not consistent with the quality of food and service. But the fish and seafood themselves disappointed: over-salted, very greasy and with a clear taste of old butter, which was fried for more than the first time. The waiter was standing nearby all the time and literally watched every movement, which created discomfort. Dirty dishes were taken away immediately. When the bill arrived, the amount was immediately entered into the terminal, and we didn't even have time to look at the receipt properly - the waiter immediately took it away along with the device. But they didn't forget to leave the tip envelope. As a result, there was a feeling of intrusive service, lack of transparency with prices and excessive attention to payment, rather than to the comfort of guests.

The first thing I liked was that there are a lot of Russians in the restaurant))) The atmosphere in the restaurant itself is good, going in there I was upset by the smoking room, but as it turned out, there is a non-smoking room and it's great, there is no smell. Then about the dishes: since the restaurant is fishy, seafood dishes predominate there. The waiter led us to a counter with fresh seafood and gave us a choice of what to eat (there were a lot of things). It was very tasty, the fish was definitely fresh and juicy. The prices are absolutely adequate, the portions are good. We got ~7 thousand in rubles, but we ate too much😅 The waiters work quickly and are responsive. There is also a waiter in the restaurant who understands and speaks Russian well enough. In general, I recommend it!

As usual, we went to the restaurant to eat seafood. The sea bass was delicious. But there are no prices on the menu for seafood and alcohol. They are being fooled in full. They brought a bill where it was 700 TL for two glasses of wine. I do not recommend it. Moreover, local Turks were sitting next to them and also sorted out the positions in the check.

The prices on the menu and what they bring are completely different. There are no fish prices on the menu. The receipt indicates the gram and the amount, they cannot provide an up-to-date price list. There are scales, but at the same time they are immediately led to the table, without showing or telling how much it costs. They issue a fiscal receipt as a supporting document without confirming the price per kg. Include the service in the receipt. They make fools of Russians.
