I can understand with hats, but towels are a base for any place of rest, and they should be given everywhere. Although when they came to look at the house, hats and even brooms were hanging. - there is billiards, but there is a nuance with it. He is in a big house, and we were told that if there is no one in the big house, we can rent for 50p. We arrived a couple of hours later, we were told that the owners were resting there, go for a walk. That was the most confusing thing.
