a wonderful hotel in terms of price = quality, family-oriented, lots of entertainment for children (kids' club, bar, pool and evening program) I myself rested here as a child. Many people write about stones in the sea, I can say that in 2025 there seemed to be fewer of them, + they are immediately visible, so this does not interfere with rest. I like this hotel for its calm atmosphere and comfort, the staff is friendly and always happy to help. I would like to note the location, a 30-minute walk along the promenade along the sea is the ancient city of Side, with lots of shops and restaurants for every taste. The a la carte restaurants are just wonderful!

The child is 4 years old and 3 of them are flying to Turkey in winter (short flight and mild climate change). We have not returned to any of the hotels twice. Let's go back here. Because they checked in very quickly, I asked for a quieter room, and they found the perfect one. Because the kids' club is not in the stuffy main building next to the reception, as in some expensive chain hotels, but on the street. Danaya and her colleagues are very attentive to the age and interests of the children ("in the morning we made crowns, the girls were 5-7 years old, and tomorrow we'll see"). Because it's quiet and peaceful, no excitement in the restaurant or drunken songs under the window. The best bartender at the hotel, Stella, will always smile, joke, advise, and make a cocktail not strong, but delicious. And a bonfire! Of course, it's stormy in early January. Of the 8 days, only half turned out to sit around the campfire with mulled wine in the evening. However, we were swimming. In general, the closer to December, the more likely the weather is to be good. The pool is 28 degrees (tested with a thermometer), feels icy. That's why I stopped focusing on supposedly warm Turkish pools for New Year's and May holidays a long time ago. The hotel is stretched deep. In winter, this is definitely a plus - you've moved away from the beach and you don't get blown away. Sea through the footpath. The guards are standing guard. Athletes run back and forth along the footpath and you can walk to the ancient city (we never got there). I won't say anything about the sea. On the one hand, there seems to be sand, on the other - warnings that you should be careful because of the stones.… Almost every day (except for the days of the storm) 5-6 people swam in the sea and looked quite happy. Of the strange things about the children's theme, I can only mention a mini-disco (it is, of course, but it's trash). The bed linen is snow-white, the beds and pillows are comfortable. The cleaning is generally good (things are neatly stacked in the same place where they were), except that the floors are cleaned disgustingly, but this is a question of methodology (to the administration), not to the staff.

We are currently on our seventh day at the hotel. The service is top-notch. The food is incredibly delicious! A la carte, they gave as many as 3 visits out of two available ones. I recommend fish, we took several dishes, including insanely delicious octopus. But the food in the main restaurant is just as good. One of the disadvantages is the slabs in the sea, but if you carefully enter, you can swim. Special attention to the staff! Incredibly positive hotel staff. The service is fast and high-quality. The hotel is worth the money. I definitely recommend it!

Nice room. Big. We were looking for a hotel so that we wouldn't feel like we were in someone's office. There was no such feeling here. Although I can't say that it was morally comfortable. Before Hemera, we stayed in a small hotel in the historical part of Side. There was a complete sense of comfort there. The territory is large. Very green. This is a huge plus. Several pools. The water in the pools was cold and clean. The staff is very friendly, the service is aimed at your relaxation. Every evening there is live music and some kind of performance. There were magicians, rousing dances, and acrobatic routines. The food is not the most delicious for our taste. But we weren't hungry. It's just that some of the dishes were without seasonings at all, and some were over-salted. The cocktail list is large, and the lemonades at the bars are delicious. A clean beach. The water in the sea seemed to be warmer than in the pool. This was our first experience of staying in hotels of this kind. Overall, we were satisfied, and even felt a little sad that we had to continue our journey through Turkey. Thank you so much for the rest. We understood why people tend to relax in this format.

The review is recent - the end of February 2026. It took a long time to choose a hotel for a family holiday with a child (1.3 years old), we stayed at Barut Hemera . Unfortunately, the hotel did not meet expectations at all. If there is a children's concept, there is no children's table, the children's area is closed (with the note see children's meals in the adult area), there is no food for toddlers (at least broth or mashed potatoes), 3 types of children's mashed potatoes -cabbage, plum and cottage cheese with apple).There is only one blender in the whole hall, it is constantly dirty, it is not washed, and it must be begged.There is no playground, the indoor pool is stated at 27 degrees, in fact it is warmed up by 20-23 degrees. Among the advantages are the territory, proximity to the old town, extras in the form of a stroller, a sideboard and a baby set, good ala-cards and cocktail cards, a high-quality pastry shop. If you are planning a vacation with your baby, you are clearly not here.

I miss you Barut Hemera! The most wonderful place.! The entrance group of the hotel, the hotel itself, rooms, restaurants, pools, the beach -all this beauty delights the eye. Very clean, tidy, well-kept garden, lots of greenery, flowering plants and fruit trees-oranges, grapefruits, pomegranates, quinces, olives, bananas ... And what a smell! One of the features of the hotel is the love and care of nature. Interesting sculptures on the territory of the hotel, made of wood species washed ashore by the storm. Upon check-in, everyone is given a water bottle, there are coolers with clean drinking water in the restaurants, this eliminates a lot of garbage in the form of plastic cups. The rooms also have booklets with an emphasis on caring for natural resources. This one commands deep respect. Nice and attentive staff. They were very responsive, and every request was fulfilled instantly. An abundance of delicious, fresh, varied food. There are separate meals and drinks for Venitarians and gluten-free dieters. For small children, there is a restaurant in the restaurant. For those who want to eat away from the noise of children, the 16+ zone is where only adults are. Drinks can be enjoyed by the pool. Everything is thought out to the smallest detail. We always remembered that we were visiting a Country with our own traditions and rules, and we followed and respected the prescribed rules. While we were resting, they took care of us. They are incredibly warm, giving, patient, hardworking people. Water is replenished every day, a welcome bottle of wine, beer, pola, sprite, juice in the mini bar. Daily change of towels. Sulfate shampoo. It didn't suit me. The cleaning is very good. The hotel is very clean, the territory is not very large, but there are also three swimming pools (one heated), a water park, and an orange grove. Very tasty and varied food. The service is above all praise. You don't have time to sit down, the waiter immediately comes up and brings drinks. There are quarcodes at the sea and at the pools, you can order drinks. Three visits to Alaska are free. We liked the international and Italian. The hotel is European, we did not feel deprived at all. Everyone is treated the same. And the guests themselves are nice and friendly. The sea across the embankment (large and beautiful) is shallow, sand, there are stones at the entrance. It's a great place to relax in the off-season.

We stayed at the Barut Hemera Hotel in the last week of February as a couple. The rest was wonderful, everything was very pleasant, the hotel itself, the green area, excellent service, delicious food, excellent drinks, spa and pools, walks along the promenade along the sea to Side, evening live music and a romantic place by the bar with bonfire areas in the evenings. One of the best on the coast of Side. Pros: 5*, 1 line, family hotel, green area, the main contingent of Europeans, good food (+ fruits all day), in May there were enough sun beds on the beach, there are also on-site facilities, clean, the plumbing works well in the room, friendly staff, during the day there is a Russian-speaking staff on reception, convenient location: walk along the boardwalk, within walking distance of Antik Side (I recommend visiting), various small shops, an exchange across the street, pharmacies are often located here, carrefour, it is better to get to nova moll by bus (from side bus). Cons: lunch would be a bigger assortment of dishes (considering that it's 5*), WI-Fi is not always stable.

We stayed at the hotel in September 2025. I don't understand where good reviews come from. Yes, the territory of the hotel is beautiful and well-groomed, delicious desserts, the advantages end there. The main disadvantage of the hotel is the swimming area in the sea. There are a lot of large boulders, because of this it is not possible to swim. I have to go to the nearby beach. The second disadvantage of the hotel is the lack of bottled water. Upon arrival, you will be given a bottle into which you pour water from the coolers yourself. How to wash this bottle while staying at the hotel for two weeks is unclear! I had to go and buy detergent and sponges! Coolers are generally a separate story, it seems that they are connected to the central water supply, so how the water is filtered in the heat is anyone's guess (photo attached) . Glass bottles of water are brought to your room (reusable, how they are sterilized is also not clear). The food is generally good, the staff is helpful! But for 500K for 12 nights , saving on water is too much !

The location is excellent, the food is excellent, there are several restaurants, a coffee shop, the territory is very cozy, surrounded by greenery, the beach is sandy, the service is top notch. There are mostly Germans, British, and other nationalities in the hotel, there are not many Russian speakers. Among the disadvantages: the price is high, there are a lot of cats, but there are a lot of them everywhere in Turkey, a funny plastic pontoon on the beach does not correspond to the level of the hotel, no more disadvantages are noticed. The rooms are newly renovated, the price per room is 2 times cheaper, yes, there are no langoustines and salmon every day, but the beach there is similar to the beach. Delicious, varied, seafood in different varieties are present. Fresh orange juice for breakfast only. The pool has a quarkode ordering system that opens the menu. It's not very fast, but it's useless to just walk up to the bar... they don't pay attention. Yes, because there are not many of them (workers)... it seems to be, but not enough. Sea... sand. I've been trying to swim for the 2nd day.... No, it's not working, it's stormy. Like sand and a wave, it's dirty. Well... It's okay, it's probably just a bad place. We stayed at this hotel from August 31 to September 10, 2025. It's a very nice place. Beautiful and well-maintained territory, friendly, helpful staff, quickly solve all problems. The room cleaning is good. The mini-bar is replenished daily, all drinks are in glass. The hotel has several restaurants. The food is very good, the choice is large for breakfast and dinner. Lunch is a little smaller, but lunch also takes place at beach restaurants, so you can go there too. Excellent pastry shop at the hotel. Cocktails are a separate topic! They are very tasty, the alcohol is really good quality, mostly imported. Wonderful evening shows, at 2 venues. Beach. Nice, comfortable sun beds with soft mattresses. The distance between the sun beds is decent, you don't lie next to your neighbors. There are sharp rocks in the sea itself, but it's not the hotel's fault. We went swimming at the nearby beach. A very small disadvantage: the cramped shower cabin in the room. We're not full, we were fine. But a big and fat person will probably be uncomfortable. Overall, a wonderful vacation. P.S. wi-fi catches everywhere.

This is the first time I've seen such a pleasant and comfortable combo.(although we travel quite actively and choose decent hotels) this hotel is the best in this regard! In general, the restaurants here are better than any praise. A wide variety of dishes for every taste, and the restaurants on the menu are a special delight. The service, serving, and decoration of dishes are worthy of the best gourmet restaurants. But the main advantage of this hotel is the staff. From the beach employee to the manager, they are as attentive, friendly and ready to solve any issue as possible. Great hotel!!! We were a big family of 5 people. We liked everything, how you enter the large reception hall and further throughout the territory. The territory is green, there is a lot of greenery that is being looked after, the hotel is not huge, but compact and quite intimate, hidden from view from the road, it is not visible from the sea, and I repeat, it is surrounded by greenery. The staff is friendly, which pleasantly surprised me. They know Russian quite well, both in the bar, in the restaurant, and on the beach. Animation is just some kind of continuous celebration both at lunch and in the evening at two venues. If you want to sit after dinner and not go anywhere, it's a great option. If you want to take a walk, then the pier along the sea is also a great option. If you ask, how is the menu?! It's also great, the breakfasts are delicious (I'm a fan of porridge myself and it was very tasty to me), pancakes (thin and pancakes), cheeses, sausages, red fish ... worthy. We had lunch occasionally at a bar near the sea and it was very tasty as well. And dinners are a gastronomic abundance: huge shrimps, grilled fish, battered fish, fried fish, and fruits are also plentiful: figs, pitahaya, strawberries (always ripe and next to cream, peaches, melon.. meat delicacies, meat in various versions and grilled, and with vegetables. Chicken, turkey, beef, lamb. I repeat, there is a huge variety! After lunch, you can have tea and coffee in the cafeteria with cakes, Turkish streams, and a variety of desserts. I would also like to note that the hotel is in favor of an eco-friendly direction, there are no piles of plastic, water in the glass in the room, upon arrival they give you a bottle as a gift and you fill it with delicious water as needed, coolers in the designated places. However, it should be noted that it may be somewhat difficult for Russian-speaking guests to communicate with staff who speak Russian at a limited level. The room cleaning service can be described as stable and conscientious, without any special frills, but maintaining the necessary level of cleanliness. It may be worth considering the quality of the cosmetics provided in the rooms (shampoo, conditioner), as they may not meet the needs of some guests, especially those who are accustomed to specialized care. A wonderful hotel, a pleasant atmosphere, a beautiful, well-groomed territory, delicious and varied food in the restaurant, friendly and helpful staff - all this made the stay fabulous! Even the zero temperature at the beginning of the rest could not spoil the impression! Cozy campfires and heaters by the pool created a homely atmosphere in the pool bar and warmed up on cold evenings. There are a large number of seals throughout the territory that help maintain a homely atmosphere. I would like to say a special thank you to Stella, the bartender by the pool, who helped to cope with language problems and was always ready to help, Margot, the receptionist, who quickly solved all the issues that arose, and Ravadan, the waiter at the restaurant, for the excellent service! The staff is very pleasant and speaks Russian as well. The ancient city of Side can be reached in a 20-minute walk along the promenade along the sea. The only thing to keep in mind is that the entrance to the water is rocky, in some places with very sharp stones (but warnings are posted in such places).

It's a lovely hotel. This is the first time I've been to a hotel of this level. Incredibly beautiful territory, lots of places to relax. Everything is cleverly arranged. The food is beyond praise. Varied and delicious. Fish dinner - a huge amount of seafood, very impressive. Good service. Very attentive staff. There was no toothbrush, toothpaste, ironing board, or iron in the room when checking in. Upon request, it was delivered within 5 minutes. The waiters are great, they just don't leave your side while you're at the table. The hotel is quiet, peaceful, and comfortable. There are 20% Russians, and the remaining 80% are Germans. Every evening there is a show program. I liked something more, something less. But overall, well done. I really liked the magician. The best show. There is practically no animation for adults during the day. We played volleyball, and it seems that's it. Teenagers in this hotel would obviously be bored. There is a children's club. I can't say anything about him. There were no small children with us. Of the main disadvantages, cold pools can be canceled, there is not a single heated, even indoor one. Maybe it's not important in the summer, but out of season. This is a big disadvantage. The sea is also cold. It's not clear what to do there at all. The room is tired and battered. Everything you need is there. Excellent beds and pillows. The bathroom has an incredibly strong sewer smell. Cleaning is generally normal. There are only drinks in the mini bar: beer, water, wine, juice. In general, I certainly liked the hotel. But if it was possible to swim somewhere and it didn't stink of sewage, then I would give 5 stars.
