We had a rest at the end of April 2026 with friends. Excellent hotel in Sukhumi. These are new buildings right on the beach. Not to be confused with the Aidar Hotel, which is located across the street in the park. All rooms at this hotel are spacious with a large balcony overlooking the sea. The room has everything you need: comfortable beds, good blankets and pillows, bathrobes, beach towels, slippers, a tea station. The breakfasts are also good, everything is delicious and fresh. They are served in the neighboring building in the restaurant, also with a view of the sea. There, on the ground floor, you can have lunch and dinner according to the menu. The prices are not too high, the food is delicious. You can also order room service. The hotel has free sun beds, a beach under the windows. But we didn't use it because it wasn't the season for swimming. But every morning we saw dolphins right in front of the windows. I was also pleased with the birthday compliment from the hotel in the form of a bottle of Abkhazian dry red wine. Behind the buildings there is a railway right next to the buildings. We were worried initially that it would be a problem. But we shouldn't have worried. We heard it a couple of times in the morning, it passes very quickly. It seems that the train runs 2-4 times a day during the season. Overall, we really enjoyed everything. Thank you for your hospitality!

We had a rest at the Aitar Sea Hotel in Sukhumi and were very satisfied, although there were some nuances. The main advantage of the hotel is its location right on the beach with stunning views from the window. At the same time, the place here is secluded and quiet, but the city center is only a 15—minute walk away, and the best beach in Sukhumi, Mocha, with its music, bars and activities, is only 10 minutes away. The perfect combination for those who want a quiet retreat, but are willing to plunge into the noisy fun of the beach. The only drawback that cannot be ignored is the proximity to the railway. Trains run infrequently, at about nine in the evening and at six in the morning, but the noise from them is loud enough and can spoil the impression of a morning nap. Personally, it wasn't a problem for me at all, I sleep soundly. However, if you're a light sleeper, earplugs won't hurt. In general, I strongly recommend it for those who want beautiful views, modern comfortable rooms and a minimum of people.
