It has been some time since I purchased the GS8 GAC, and now I can share my observations. At the moment, I have driven about 950 km, and my assessment of the car is, well, let's say, mixed. The best thing about the GS8 is its stylish appearance. It does not seem cumbersome to operate, the equipment is quite good. The car looks impressive, especially when viewed from the side, resembling a Land Rover. But there are also moments that disappointed me. For example, the brightness of the dashboard. Every time she returns to maximum brightness by herself, which is really blinding at night. It's inconvenient that you have to adjust it manually all the time. As for the interior space, everything is pretty good here. I usually use it as a five-seater, and even with the third row folded, the trunk turns out to be very spacious. Driving the GS8 is a pleasure due to the sufficient power, especially if you are ready to step on the gas pedal. The power direction is very precise, which is important for a large car. Fuel consumption in the GS8, however, leaves much to be desired. In the city and on the highway, it is about 12 liters per 100 km, which is quite a lot for a modern car. The interior is made of high-quality materials that are pleasant to the touch. I've heard that the seats fall apart over time, but so far everything is fine. The softness of the seats is very comfortable. Another advantage of the GS8 is that the package includes 7 free services. I learned from another owner that it was possible to arrange for free electric footrests, which I did not do when buying, and now I regret it. The only disadvantage is the high landing of the car, which makes it difficult for children to get inside. As for the configuration, the car has a 360-degree panoramic view and a transparent chassis, which is very convenient, especially for novice drivers. In conclusion, GS8 is a mix of pros and cons. It is stylish, powerful and roomy, but there are points that need improvement, especially in terms of fuel consumption and some elements.
