Between the stone streets of the historical bazaar of Milas, we stepped into an atmosphere where time seems to flow a little slower, still preserving the Decrepit texture. The smell of meatballs and liver rising from inside Arastam made us feel that we were in the right place when we entered the door. What was noticed as soon as we sat down at the table was the reflection of a tradition that has been carried on with the same skill for many years. The outside of the meatball is slightly crispy, the inside is juicy; the liver was cooked exactly according to Milas' famous thin cut. When combined with the spring onions, tomatoes and village bread next to it, a table that really made us say “good luck” appeared. The most valuable thing in such places is not only the food; it's the friendly environment you live in, the warmth of the shopkeepers and the spirit of the historical bazaar. When all of them come together, you are not having an ordinary meal in Milas, you are having a little taste journey.
