It's all good. There are some minor flaws, but the kindness and attentiveness of the staff is overwhelming. The courtyard is very cozy. Three meals a day, not a restaurant, of course, but it looks like a good dining room). The sea, THE SEA! - about 5-8 minutes. Stayed for 1 night. Good location of the hotel, 5-10 minutes to the sea, near the Ferris wheel. Beautiful garden on site. Pleasant and helpful staff. The room was standard with 1 large bed, surprisingly with a nice comfortable mattress and pillows. Simple but clean, individual water heater in the bathroom. Meals were included - full board. I didn't get to dinner, I didn't like lunch, but breakfast turned out to be surprisingly tasty. A couple of comments about the hotel. Something needs to be done about the flies in the dining room, there are a lot of them there. Cool dogs run around the territory, but early in the morning they played and barked on the spans where the doors and windows of the rooms go out, took clothes off the dryers. We need to block their passage to the stairs.

I would like to mention Rustam separately. All faults in the household.the parts were solved quickly. It is close to the sea in about 5 minutes on foot. The only thing that spoiled the rest was TEARING up. In my opinion, most of the vacationers suffer from it.

The hotel has a guarded closed area. There is a small playground. The hotel building and the dining room are very beautiful. Palm trees, agaves, flowering shrubs grow. There are tables with chairs, and those who wish can eat outside. And just sit on the bench. The meals in the dining room are comprehensive (without a choice). Breakfast - porridge, casserole, egg, sausage, cheese, butter, tea, coffee. For lunch and dinner, cutlets, meat, chicken. To garnish, buckwheat, potatoes, horns, rice. Cucumbers and tomatoes are fresh and pickled. The food is delicious. There is a microwave oven. The hotel itself is small. The rooms are small. Our room was on the ground floor. Dark. The window and door open onto a balcony terrace, along which the residents of the neighboring rooms pass. It's not comfortable. The audibility is great. The room has a wardrobe (there are few hangers), a bed, a bedside table with a table lamp, a refrigerator, a small table and 2 plastic armchairs, air conditioning, a TV, mugs, spoons, plates. The mirror is small only above the sink in the bathroom. Kettle, ironing board on the terrace on the floor. Clothes dryer in the same place for 2 rooms. The bathroom has a very small shower stall, water was leaking from the pipes onto the floor. The noise in the pipes, especially at night, is strong. Of the bath accessories, there was only soap, 2 towels each. There are a lot of mosquitoes. The pills didn't help. The Wi-Fi is weak in the room. The TV showed 5 channels sometimes, but the signal was often lost. Light and water were periodically turned off. Cleaning was carried out every day. I really liked the hotel staff, pleasant, friendly people.

I decided to write a review. We have been vacationing since August 18, 2023.It was not the first time we had a vacation in Abkhazia. This year we decided to stay in Gagra. As in all places of Abkhazia, clean air and warm gentle sea, that's why we go there! But Apsilaa is a modest little boarding house with a green area and responsive staff. All the staff are wonderful people. Special thanks to the administrator Elena, an attentive and kind-hearted man, for all questions to her and everything is being solved! Lenochka, thank you very much! But there is a fat minus in the boarding house - food! There's nothing to worry about! Unless it's breakfast, you won't stay hungry. The receptionist brought us a kettle, plates, spoons and three mugs were in the room, the refrigerator is working! Special thanks to the staff, everyone is very very polite, friendly, helpful! We only had breakfast, we came at 8, the distribution system is interesting, do not wait for a buffet, a specific range of dishes, portions are put up for each person, for example porridge and omelette with pancakes, bread, tea/coffee, sugar, milk on a separate table, we ate enough, everything is delicious, clean, dishes It's good! We saw someone and had dinner in the evening, on order or boarding, I don't know. If we needed any more dishes, we went to the dining room, they gave us everything without any problems. The cleaning was done every day, the linen was changed every 3 days. The territory of the hotel is fenced, very well maintained, plants of incredible beauty, guards are constantly on the territory. The hotel itself is located away from the road, very quiet all around, 500 meters from the sea, the beach is large, very wide, the embankment is long, equipped, access to the sea is good, sun beds are paid, we took 100 rubles once for the whole day. There are a lot of shops, cafes, representatives of tour bureaus all around. We ate in restaurants, tried only local food, on average 1500-1600 rubles for three people went out, took different dishes to try. Very close to the hotel there is a Ferris wheel, a water park, but it did not work with us, there are a lot of places for walking. The local market is within walking distance from the hotel, various products for every taste. In general, for unassuming tourists, the place is amazing, old Gagra. We walked to Novaya Gagra once, from the Apsilaa hotel to the Colonnade a little more than 6 km, along the whole road there is a resort traffic, very interesting! We drove back from the Gagripsh restaurant to our hotel at night for 400 rubles, did not bargain, the driver was very talkative, gave us a mini tour, no provocations, no anti-national speeches, there was no sticking on his part, a very friendly man with a sense of humor. We are already in Abkhazia for the third time, in full delight, from the nation, from nature, from the atmosphere, from the sea, from the mountains, we will definitely come next year!

We had a rest in July, we really liked the beautiful territory, a lot of plants: roses, palm trees, huge aloes. There are tables and benches, you can sit and relax in the evening. Silence at night, which is not unimportant, you can't hear night music, etc. There is not enough pool, the territory allows you to make a decent pool, especially since the place is empty. The breakfasts are delicious, but they are repeated every three days, the cook wishes to diversify the menu, you can cook cheesecakes and, of course, there are not enough pastries. I didn't like that the lights were turned off, it happened every night and in the morning. If there are such problems in the city, it's time to think about the generator, after all, we pay a lot of money for a ticket. Room cleaning is so-so, of course. In 2 weeks, we changed towels 2 times, linen 1 time and washed the shower and toilet 1 time. Toilet paper was provided only upon request. Well, it's better for the staff to be smiling, otherwise in the morning they pass by like an empty place.

Be prepared that if the lights go out, there will be no water, no TV, no Internet... When it last rained, they said that the lights were turned off for 2 days. To the question of where to get water to at least go to the toilet, the administrator Elena (I ask the head to pay his attention to who works for you) she replied: there are pens, take the buckets and type in the nearest puddle. To the indignation of people, they explained: WELL, THIS IS ABKHAZIA... although all decent places already have at least some generators. In general, it's creepy. Also, no one warned in advance about the departure the day before, supposedly you know everything yourself... Well, such a thing... And this Elena, in general, is a boor who works on his own. In the rooms, as someone wrote, there are really mosquito guts on the walls. There is a candle, but without the light, which is often turned off is a useless thing. The TV is also about nothing. I do not recommend it. We're not going back.

The hotel fully justifies its two stars, so you need to understand that you are not eating at 5 stars, but at 2 and, accordingly, be less pretentious. But there are some wishes: there is no pool, if there is a storm at sea, then I would like to swim in the pool, there were no pastries at breakfast and there is no coffee machine, in the morning it is necessary. The distribution is the cheapest instant coffee and no tea, but the cost of this hotel is not cheap. But this wish does not affect the rest of the hotel in any way. I probably won't stay there a second time, it's a very small hotel.

The hotel is modest, the rooms are small, the walls are thin, poor sound insulation, the doors open onto a shared balcony where there is a clothes dryer, ironing board and plastic chairs.
