We recently visited the Anasha cafe on the Sukhumi embankment and were very satisfied! The interior is made in the national Abkhazian style, but with a modern approach — cozy, stylish, without frills. The windows offer a beautiful view of the embankment, the sea and the colonnade — especially beautiful in the evening when the lights turn on. The background is unobtrusive Abkhaz music, which adds color. Anasha is a great place for lunch or dinner in Sukhumi. It's worth coming here for the view, pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. We were satisfied and will be happy to come back again!

The pleasant, friendly host, Andrey, knows the history perfectly well, told a lot of interesting things about Abkhazia and also about the interior in his museum-restaurant. Beautiful serving of dishes and most importantly very tasty. I especially recommend trying the local national dish "islaj" instead of hominy. Very tasty local mutton.
