Amed is a favorite place for Bali divers. The beach is unusual, in the sense that it is both clean and not very clean, it all depends on the time of day (it brings garbage early in the morning), the tide turns after lunch or the cleaners wake up, in a word, the garbage disappears. The coast is small with black sand, and sometimes rocky, but it is not pleasant, but the opportunity to swim with a mask. There are a lot of corals and marine life nearby, hotels on the shore offer masks and fins (I managed to rent two pairs for 5 days for 100 rupees). The area itself is very quiet, there is only one store per kilometer, it is best to travel by bike, you can not always wait for a taxi (I'm talking about Grab and others like it). There are a lot of dive schools and centers for every taste and budget. You can come here in two cases: Are you an avid diver or do you want to escape from the noise to a quiet place. According to personal observation, good accommodation in 4* hotels is difficult to find.

Amed is a string of fishing villages along the coast of the Balinese Sea. There is a wonderful black beach made of volcanic sand in the town of Lepakh. Underwater coral garden with lots of marine life. There are many varungas in the village for every taste and budget. 12 km along the serpentine viewing platform on the great Agung, near the Lempuyang temple, on the way to which there are rice terraces.

A wonderful place – a paradise for diving and snorkeling. A wonderful reef! There are a lot of live corals and fish. It starts right from the shore. We were thrilled! There is a slight disadvantage – a very narrow and old road. An almost difficult place to reach. But it's worth it.
