I applied to this dentist for caries treatment. In correspondence, I was informed that the treatment of deep caries costs from 15,000 tenge. However, completely different amounts were announced at the reception: the treatment of medium caries is already 30,000 tenge, and deep caries is from 45,000 tenge. I was not provided with a clear explanation for such a sharp price discrepancy. There is an impression of a lack of transparency in the formation of the cost of treatment. Sterility during the appointment was also extremely alarming: the assistant took out sterilized instruments without gloves and took gloves for the doctor with her bare hands before handing them over to the dentist. For a medical institution, such actions look unacceptable and raise serious doubts about compliance with sanitary standards. In addition, during the consultation, the dentist persistently urged me to install braces due to malocclusion and argued that without this, caries treatment would not make sense. This presentation of information looked more like pressure on the patient to impose additional expensive treatment than as a correct medical recommendation. On the same day, at 7:30 p.m., I called the clinic to clarify the reasons for the change in the cost of treatment. They started talking to me in a rude way and interrupted me. When I asked to conduct the conversation correctly and not interrupt me, the call was simply dropped, explaining that the working day was already over. At the same time, the clinic's WhatsApp says that calls are accepted until 20:00. As a result, an extremely negative impression was left: lack of price transparency, questions about sterility, and an unacceptable style of communication with patients. I recommend that future patients clarify the full treatment plan and the total cost in advance before starting any procedures.
