Suggested polishing....I polished the edges along with the irregularities, and made an "American" one, which has a rectangular cross-section shape, flat and even faces, and a "European" one with rounded edges. They ruined the ring, the mood. How to return the ring shape to the American one is now completely unclear. I don't recommend it. The attitude corresponds to the job.
