I chose the Akka suites hotel for my first trip and it exceeded my expectations! To begin with, the staff is just nice, they helped with all the questions very promptly and always with a smile. The room is spacious, the bed linen is crisp, the pillows are comfortable - the most necessary after long walks in Istanbul. There is a minibar, but it is paid. Bath accessories, dental kits, terry bathrobes and slippers - everything was there!Also, a $100 deposit is paid upon arrival, we knew this in advance. He was returned during the eviction. 1 minute and you are on Istiklal, 15-20 minutes walk to Galata tower, in general, many attractions are close. The neighboring building from the hotel is the Yuri Gagarin bar, reasonable prices, you can even eat there during the day. There was enough for breakfast, there was even soup, they tried to diversify the buffet. Do I want to return to this hotel? Absolutely yes!!!

So, as always, an honest review. The hotel is cozy, small, clean, 5 floors like, we were given a room on the 2nd floor, with a view of..... The neighboring building, which is located at arm's length. There is a Police station in this building, so we rarely opened the window. They were constantly smoking, shouting in their own language, laughing. And there is also a Gagarin bar nearby, music was blaring one day until 4 a.m., it is impossible to fall asleep without earplugs. So keep in mind when choosing a hotel. The hotel itself is located 3 minutes from Istiklal Street, the local Arbat, I don't think it's necessary to say how noisy it is there. But shopping is provided for you. The room is very clean and cozy, cleaned every day. The buffet breakfast in the neighboring building is very varied. Lots of pastries, yoghurts, porridge a couple of times, boiled eggs, omelets. Well, greens, vegetables, olives of all kinds, only oranges and grapefruit from fruits. The French fries were not tasty at all, eggplant, croquettes of some kind. During the week, of course, I got bored, upon arrival home, my husband and I made fried eggs with vegetables and herbs, I missed it. Tea, coffee by default. I'll attach a photo. Next time we will rent a hotel in Sultanahmet district. Overall, the hotel is good, I recommend it.
