We were in March, I liked everything. We settled in earlier without any problems, we got into the situation. The room is cozy, two-room, although there is no curtain in the shower, but the breakfast is above all praise. Porridge, omelette, pancakes, and it's not a choice, it's for one) There is a bed in one room and a sofa in the other. There is a refrigerator, TV, safe.

We stayed at this hotel with my husband and did not regret the choice at all. A wonderful hotel, wonderful hosts and a very kind and caring female receptionist (unfortunately, I didn't remember the name). Upon check-in, we were generously offered a larger and brighter room, but we declined due to the fact that I like to sleep in complete darkness with blackout curtains, but it was a very pleasant offer. Everyone discouraged us from going to Abkhazia, because many of our friends were faced with the problem of cold rooms. Heating, of course, with electric batteries (as we understand it, there is no gas there, so that's it, but this is our proposal)but we had three of them, and we only used one. The TV and Internet are working, the water is always hot — what else do you need? In Russia, we have come across much worse options for a more expensive price, but here the rooms are clean and cozy. We will recommend this hotel to our loved ones and will come back if we come to Abkhazia in the future. Thank you for the warm welcome!

No, I wasn't afraid. We were very warmly welcomed, in general, all the staff is very friendly. The hotel has a very green and flourishing territory (although not large). On the territory of the cafe. The food is delicious. We tried a lot of things during our stay. The sea is a five-minute walk away. There is a small grocery store three minutes away, but there is everything you need. As well as a store with resort goods. Colonnade and Seaside Park - about seven minutes by minibus. They walk often, they stop literally with a wave of their hand) If you need excursions, you can book them on the way to the sea. The result of the stay is this: this hotel is the place you want to return to. We will definitely do that.👍🏻

We had a rest at the end of September, a room on the third floor with a view of the mountains. The balcony is small, but with a wonderful view of the mountains. We drank coffee in the morning and watched the fog dissipate over the mountains. Beauty. Inal and Margarita work at the hotel. Attentive, friendly, responsible. Everything is clean, the room is large, hot water is always available, Internet connection. There are cafes and places surrounded by greenery where you can eat, sit in greenery and beauty. Astamur, the owner of the hotel, told a lot of interesting and informative things about the history, terrain, vegetation, etc. The sea is clean, nearby, sun beds are free and there is a place to walk in the evenings. Everything is calm, beautiful and relaxing.

We stayed at the hotel from September 2 to September 9, 2025 at the Aymara Hotel. This is not the first time in Abkhazia, but we would like to return to this place again. I liked everything from the check-in to the last day. The room was on the 3rd floor, they took it with breakfast. The breakfasts are delicious, thanks to Gula for the delicious cheesecakes. Mutya, who cleans the room, is a very attentive and sensitive woman, a smart girl, thank you very much. Also, Rita and the Inal administrators are great. The hotel is located near the sea, the view from the balcony is gorgeous. The location of the hotel is convenient. One request, put kettles in the rooms. Boiling water was always poured in the kitchen upon request, but it was not always convenient to walk every time. There is an ironing board with an iron, which is a plus. There is always hot water, just boiling water. The lights were turned off every day at 9 p.m., but the hotel has a generator that automatically turns on. I didn't want to leave, we will definitely come back again. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Good day to all! I want to tell you about an amazing trip to Abkhazia. It is an amazingly beautiful nature, polite and pleasant people who were happy to answer all questions. We stayed at the Aimara Hotel. They put us in a room with a sea view. Since this is our first time in Abkhazia, my husband had a lot of questions, but the staff steadfastly passed the test of this curious guest 😊 The owner of the hotel is very polite and sociable, helped with advice on choosing a good wine. Chef Margarita made culinary masterpieces, which can even compete with restaurants. Inal is a cheerful and always positive bartender, and I can't help but mention a modest but very sincere Gulya, who always worried that we cleaned up after ourselves. You can talk and write for a long time. I just advise everyone to go on vacation to Abkhazia at the Aimara hotel.

Even though we only stopped for a day, but how many positive emotions!!! Astamur is a wonderful host and takes great care of the condition of the rooms, as well as the mood of the guests! To the sea, just cross the road! Very convenient location to the station from which there is an electric train to the Imereti resort a "Dioscuria", (tickets were ordered through the Russian Railways website, 155p) Shops, cafes and restaurants for every taste are also within walking distance! We lived in a nearby hotel, but we came to eat in a cafe on the territory of this hotel. The food is very tasty, the portions are large. We visited the hotel in October 2025, and chose it based on its convenient location. The rooms are spacious, but some have a lot of breakdowns (bedside table, lamp, shelves, light in the bathroom). We choose breakfasts from the suggested menu, long waits and tasteless defrosted semi-finished products. There are no employees at the reception at all, there is no one to answer the questions.

The cafe has gone bad! In 21,22,23,24, the whole family came to this cafe to eat. A nice girl was taking orders. Everything was delicious, the portions were large. We really liked this cafe.At the age of 25, it's a complete disappointment. The administrator was constantly dissatisfied and cursed with someone in the kitchen, charging 10% for his service (for what???). There is no choice of dishes at all, it's a shame! We ordered a Caesar salad for the child, but there wasn't a single lettuce leaf in it. Aren't you ashamed to take money for it? I ordered a kharcho, but it's anything but kharcho! It's some kind of meat gravy with lots of onions and nothing else!!! It was a pity to pour it out, so they decided to sell it under the guise of grub? Shame on you! So also 10% on top for this!After such a lunch, we decided not to go there anymore! I do not recommend it!

My husband and I spent a long time choosing where to stay in Gagra. As a result, we chose the Aymara Hotel. And they didn't regret it at all!!! The room is clean, cozy, with air conditioning and a comfortable 2-bedroom bed. The staff is very friendly and attentive. There is a cafe at the hotel. The food there is VERY tasty. Respect to the chefs. The territory is clean, cleaned daily in the morning. It's a five-minute walk to the sea. There are always free places and sun beds on the beach. In general, we are satisfied!!!

It's a terrible hotel, and I don't recommend it for people with aggression issues. There is absolutely no Internet, the first day there was good Internet in one room, on the second day it was terrible, only on the balcony it was catching, on the third it was even worse, it was necessary to look for a corner in the bedroom where the Internet was normally catching, and every five minutes it was necessary to look for a new corner. I won't say anything bad about the staff, everyone is kind and helpful, and the dogs are cute. The hotel is also under construction right now, and I can hear the sounds of repairs all day, but it doesn't really bother me (personally). The TV is literally not working because of the internet. And yet, when someone from other rooms went to the shower or to the throne, sounds could be heard from the bathroom. And the prices in the cafe, which is on the territory of the hotel, are very expensive, of course, it won't take long, but it's expensive. The light is still very dim, if you turn it on in the evening, in principle, there will be no difference. I didn't like the hotel.

We went to eat at their cafe-restaurant, because there was nothing else in the vicinity. Mixed feelings: the cafe is clean, cool, there is a decent toilet, a lot of things are cooked to order with you, not for very long. The prices are not cheap, the pricing is strange, two small pancakes are more expensive than two cheesecakes. A large chicken chop is cheaper, chicken in cheese and cream sauce (a tiny portion, only the bones of the back and wings, although my husband said it was delicious). The choice of dishes is not large, from what was ordered, I liked the boat, chicken chop and potatoes in a rustic way. The waitress seems to be a nice woman, smiling, trying to serve quickly, but there was some irritation with the guests, maybe she was already tired by the end of the season, she seemed to be recording the order, there were few people or we were alone, well, something would not bring ("you didn't order it"), the truth was quickly corrected.

The first thing that pleased me was the cleanliness in the room, the beautiful view from the window and the location, despite the proximity to the road, passing cars are not heard, it is only 3 minutes walk to the sea. The staff is very hospitable, friendly and helpful! The cuisine in the hotel restaurant is simply wonderful, excellent breakfasts and a wide variety of menus. We were also pleased with the large parking lot located on the territory of the hotel. In general, only positive emotions remained from the rest in this place.

We booked a room through the Islet website, where after a successful booking, after some time, we received a message about the cancellation of the reservation. We contacted a hotel employee, calmed us down, said that everything was in force, in the end we were not deceived. After checking into the room, we immediately noticed the very friendly staff, for which they have great respect! A very cozy courtyard, a pleasant room, a convenient location, it's not far to the sea, just go down through the territory of the neighboring Nart hotel complex and you will find yourself on a free clean beach. The hotel has its own cafe with very tasty cuisine and reasonable prices. People from neighboring hotels were periodically met here, who came there just to have a snack, because they liked it here more. We did not regret for a minute that we chose the Aymara hotel, we were impressed by the vacation, we were in Abkhazia for the first time and I want to come here again and again!

When booking a hotel, I was led to positive reviews, but in vain! There is no attitude towards the guests, rudeness in everything, you can't ask a question, they immediately snap at everything "What do you want from me", we don't want anything, we just asked standard questions. I also booked a room with a balcony and a beautiful view from the window, but in fact someone else's yard and an abandoned vegetable garden, I had to close the balcony with curtains so that the neighbors would not look. We were refused to change the room, as the other one with the promised view was already occupied. The 50% prepayment is not refundable, I had to stay. The bathroom is not at all clear for whom it is designed, it is very narrow, the door barely opens. There was no soap or shampoo in the room. The only positive things are the breakfasts, the cute dog on the premises and the woman who cleans the hotel. She was the only one who smiled, greeted and went out to get the keys when they checked out, and the hotel administrator sat with her back and did not even say goodbye. This fact surprised me at all. There is no reception in this hotel, there is a woman in the cafe building who performs the function of an administrator, a waiter and always a dissatisfied person. Once again, I didn't even want to go up and buy something there or find out. Because of this attitude and the lack of comfort in general, I did not like the rest in Gagra. I do not recommend it.

We came to Aimara this year, as we were delighted with our holidays there that year. Based on pleasant impressions and memories, we chose this hotel again. Unfortunately, our expectations have not been fulfilled this year. Firstly, the main staff was partially replaced, namely, the cook and the administrator. In 2024, the food was so delicious, with the restaurant serving dishes, the cook put her whole soul into cooking and, believe me, it felt!! Almost all the dishes on the menu were always available, yes, sometimes you had to wait for them to be ready, but you got the freshest and tastiest dishes from under the knife. In 2024, the appliances are choked in a special basket according to the number of people sitting at the table. Napkins were a mandatory attribute of the table. In addition, there was an amazing woman who served as both an administrator and a waiter. She won us over with her politeness, kindness and professionalism. What we have this year. The change of cook affected the quality of the food and its serving. Don't expect beautiful dishes, bread for soup (if you don't ask for it), or beautiful food. The cook is rude, constantly running back and forth from the kitchen to the street, talking on the phone and it's not clear if they wash their hands afterwards, etc. There are no aprons or headscarves on the cook this year. A separate topic is the administrator, who spends most of his time in the cafe. An absolutely unfriendly person who is not ready to solve your problems and respond quickly to a request. During his vacation, he did not introduce himself even once, so no names (a young man of short stature, July 2025). I was very reluctant to take orders and take out food, and I occasionally forgot about your requests for food. Questions regarding him as an administrator found the following answer, as a rule, "I'm not a plumber...". With this year's service fee (10%) even more is not clear. What kind of service? Why do you collect 10% off the order? For the fact that the guests ask for knives, forks, napkins, then they remind them about the order. No words of thanks, when this administrator brought the dishes, there was either silence on his part, or "you're welcome." Half of the dishes were not on the menu at all. Of the 6 types of pizzas, there were always two - with ham and cheese (a ton of mayonnaise) and pepperoni. There are two out of 5 soups (chicken and kharcho). There are many salads, as well as hot dishes. If in 2024 we ate here three times a day, then in 2025 we took a maximum of breakfast in order to go to the sea as soon as possible. Lunches and dinners were outside this cafe. As for the room, it will work in general, there are breakages (the door of the mini-refrigerator), there are no curtains in the shower, there are no soap accessories. But you can get over it. The only advantage of this hotel is its location to the sea (5 minutes). The new staff (cook and receptionist) are dragging Aimara to the bottom, constantly clarifying their relationship with each other, negligently treating the guests and their requests. We wish the hotel the same staff as in 2024! Special thanks to the woman who cleans the rooms (tall, thin). She is very friendly, wishes us a good day and wished us a good journey before the long journey. We don't know if we'll come back here again! Feelings are mixed.

Nice hotel. Polite staff. Cozy in the room. Minus the room - the door to the balcony does not close, 2 balconies nearby and neighbors, if desired, will not be difficult to climb to your balcony. Very tasty food in the cafe at the hotel. Beautiful serving of dishes. But for the room "breakfast is included" only for the amount of 500 rubles, even if you are in the room, even if you are 4 people, so be prepared for the fact that you will have to pay extra.

We had a rest at Aimara in October 2025. I chose the hotel based on the location (I needed old Gagra and proximity to the beach). The location really turned out to be very convenient. It took 2 minutes to get to the sea (via the Chelyuskintsev Hotel). Aimara is a cozy, clean hotel with wonderful hosts, a cute red dog named Baki (if I remember the nickname correctly), beautiful plants and delicious breakfasts. Thank you for your hospitality! Hello everyone! In June 2022, Aimara Hotel (guest house) was vacationing in Gagra. Yes, we've been looking for a long time... even taxi drivers are not very oriented and Google maps in Abkhazia are lying ((, but they found it. If you are going to this landmark hotel in front of the Chelyuskintsev rest house. Arrived in the morning, our room (without balcony with mountain view) I was busy and we were placed in a room with a large balcony and a view towards the sea. After 3 days we moved into our room, The hotel and the territory are very clean, and every day the room is not cleaned, but if you ask the receptionist, they will do everything for you. Breakfast was included, but we often had lunch and dinner at the on-site cafe. It is very tasty and the serving is on the level) On our dates, the wonderful Katya and Janine worked in the cafe, if there are any suggestions on the menu, they will definitely cook. There is a railway road next to the hotel, but since we got up early, it did not bother us. The beach is on the territory of the Chelyuskintsev rest house, 5-10 min walk. Access to the territory is free, but it is a huge plus that all the children from our hotel used the animation of the holiday home for free: exercise, creative workshop, evening disco, karaoke. For that, special thanks to the animators of the Chelyuskintsev recreation center!!! We had a wonderful rest!!! Thanks to Aimara Boutique Hotel!!!

The hotel is great. Small and cozy. I would like to highlight Wi-Fi separately! It just flies. I work remotely and during our vacation, the electricity was turned off for several hours throughout Gagra. So in our hotel, Wi-Fi continued to work without interruption! The receptionists and cooks are the kindest women. The breakfasts are incomparable, and special thanks for the Napoleon cake. I've never tasted better in my life! The view from the window was over the hills. Very quiet area. Bananas grow right on the territory) Everything worked in the room - TV, heater, all plumbing without complaints. The only drawback is that the audibility is too strong

For this money, it is quite possible to find a hotel no worse and with normal breakfasts Plus, at 9 a.m. they started banging on the door. We're sleeping. We rested from 10.08 to 20.08 in the family room, we liked everything very much. A large balcony where you can sit and admire the view. Responsive staff, receptionist Nona was always helpful. Aimara booked the hotel in February. The decision was spontaneous, as she boasted that she had chosen a hotel with a good rating in Abkhazia for the summer. I had to take out children with an allergic reaction to birch during the flowering season in the middle zone - the end of April and the beginning of May. I decided - they praise, so we take it. In February, I phoned–Lisa of the hotel was talking very kindly on the other end of the line (later we will find out, the daughter of the hotel owner). The season started on May 1, but we were allowed to arrive on April 27. I sent the money to the card (a friend from the travel business scolded me for a long time for this). But we were not deceived, our rooms were ready to move in on April 27 at first glance. Astamur (the owner of the hotel) and Lisa (his daughter) solemnly informed us that they were not giving us ordinary rooms, but studios. What was the difference between the studio? There was a couch. But there were no cupboards (in general), things could only be stored in a suitcase, there were no bedside tables, there was no kettle or at least mugs (none). Since there was no food nearby during the off-season, it was only a 15-minute walk to the left or right. And since there was no kettle, you can't even drink tea at home. The Aimara restaurant is only opening in a few weeks. The owner said you can eat for a fee at Chelyuskintsev - the hotel is nearby. We went there - they were surprised, refused. We, in turn, go to Astamur- at least give us a kettle, at least put it on the floor. He refused, did not give the kettle, again said that he would talk to the owner Chelyuskintsev. In parallel, the hotel has been undergoing renovation all this time. It's normal, with dust and the sounds of a drill. But we are not in season, we endure for the time being. In parallel, it rains almost all the time. And it's cool. Like on summer days, you can't spend all your time outside. Yes, and there is no street, this street- there is no courtyard in the hotel- Tajiks walk there with repairs, just outside the gate of the house railway tracks, then a highway, then hotels, then wet pebbles by the sea. You won't walk for a long time. And there is nowhere. As I imagined, my allergy sufferers would not breathe sea air from the balcony - repair dust on the balcony, and Tajik repairmen in cradles outside the windows. Gagra is empty at this time. At 11 a.m. on the fifth day, I call Astamur to the rumbling sounds of a drill (on this day, the sounds of repairs were deafening, it was raining outside). I say, we have nowhere to get away from its repair, I understand that it is preparing for the season with guests, but we are also guests. Gagra is empty at this time, and we have somewhere to go. I thought she would say: "be patient for a couple of hours," and he: "Oh, so, the eviction is at 12!". Me: "Oh, that's good." Did you think that I would beg you to stay? My company: my 80-year-old mother with sticks, three teenagers and me. We need to pack up in an hour and find a place to live. And he does not give me the money for the remaining period immediately (7 more days have been paid). An interesting situation. I scooped up all the Gagra telephones, urgently called the numbers from the advertisements. I found a wonderful place for the same money. Right by the sea, with good infrastructure around. Wonderful hosts. Very lucky. After 5 days, Astamur returned the money. He was polite. He said, "Don't think that we are bad." But what should I think? My unsportsmanlike company and I were kicked out of the hotel for an hour without money, as we did not want to listen and inhale the repairs. Honestly, I've never been a brawler. There have never been any problems, but there is a limit to everything. I wrote a review a few months later, I wanted to keep a cool head (and I had to find time to paint the whole story), and I didn't plan to spoil the season for him, but those who arrive at the beginning of the trail. I have to warn you. And so the nature of Abkhazia is beautiful. One of the most beautiful. But I will not go so indiscriminately, without finding out everything about the hotel and about the owners.

I will put 3 for the value for money. I lived for 3 days, there were constant problems with electricity, it could turn on and off several times within half an hour. And so several times a day. Breakfast is included, but only for 500 rubles, you have to pay extra for the rest, it was especially unpleasant, given that there were four of us. With a room price of 9,000, this is some kind of a tiny thing, taking another 200-300 rubles for tea. The air conditioner was old, it was quite difficult for him to work, it is clear that he had not been serviced for a long time. There is only one card from the room and there will be no light without it, so we drove into the room boiling from the heat, I inserted the bank card and did not take it out again, so as not to get baked. There was no hot water during the day, it feels like they turn off the boiler and turn it on only in the evening when guests come from the beaches. On the last day, we decided to leave before breakfast, which I warned the staff about, no one offered to make sandwiches on account of the included breakfast. It is clear that a lot of money has been poured into the interiors, and the service is near zero, it would be possible to make the rest of the guests much more pleasant with a minimum of effort.

Good location, access to the sea. Well-maintained territory, fresh renovation, good kitchen. Unfortunately, it was not possible to have a full rest. We live from July 25 to July 29, 2024. The owners continue construction in symbiosis with foreign specialists during the hot season. The roar of the grinder, the lifting of building materials to the upper floors, the work of electric saws, hammers, the screams of foreign specialists. To the repeated complaints of vacationers from the owners, they received the answer: "Okay, we'll take it into account." And everything goes on. People came to rest for a lot of money. A 2-bed room per day costs 30 times more expensive than living (I mean rent) in a 1-room apartment in a million-plus city. The work continues from morning to evening with a break for 1 hour from 14 to 15. Alas... We won't come here again, even when the construction is over. There is no need to expect understanding and courtesy from the owners of the hotel.

We stayed at this hotel in early August. Positive:meals and a large balcony. That's where the advantages end. The room itself is certainly not small, but there are big problems with cleanliness. The windows are all covered in dust, the carpet on the floor is stained. And the toilet and shower are a separate song. The toilet is very dirty. It is simply not possible to wash in the shower, because then there is just a flood, since the water does not drain. There is no hood at all in the toilet, instead there is a window. The owner doesn't want to listen to anything at all. Position: if you don't like it, leave. The reception is not clear what it is made for when there is no one there. The room key card was given one that turns on the electricity, respectively, everything turns off when you leave. You come to a room where it's stuffy, although you could turn on the air conditioner at this time. And this despite the fact that the room is not cheap. But the owner still has advice:it is necessary to listen to the guests, and eliminate shortcomings, and not enter into ambitions.I will definitely not come to this hotel!

We booked a room at the booking office 2 months before the holiday (July 2021), paid an advance payment by transfer to the card, which I think is strange. 1.5 weeks before the holiday, they wrote that they had a system failure and there was simply NO room for us. I wonder which system, if it's a small hotel where there's just no program!!!! It turns out that we were simply left without a room, and it is impossible to find a normal place in such a short period of time. As a result, the rest was ruined. To our indignation, they only said that it was not customary for them to talk like that. And it's okay to treat clients like that. Naturally, there is no compensation.
