This bronze bust of Suvorov (one of the three monuments to the commander in Kobrin) I liked it more than the others. It is located in the park named after Suvorov. The park was laid out on the site of an estate that, after the third partition of Poland, Catherine II presented to Suvorov (he lived here in 1797 and 1800, from here he went ill to St. Petersburg, where he immediately died). As the guide told us, the estate was surrounded by a rampart with a moat, and inside, on the shore of the pond, there was a small wooden house in which Suvorov lived (a century later, this dilapidated house, which passed from hand to hand, was demolished, and a new house was built on the same site, which burned down during the fighting of World War II). And it is very symbolic that a bust of the great commander was erected on the site of this burnt-out house on the 150th anniversary of Suvorov's death on the shore of a preserved ancient pond. It's a very picturesque place. And it's not far from the center. We came along the pedestrian street of Suvorov, which "flows" into the central alley of the park. The bust is at the very end of the alley.
