During my vacation in Batumi, the Karavani restaurant became the place where I wanted to return every time. First of all, delicious national dishes. The most delicious khachapuri and khinkali (in my personal modest rating). Excellent kharchos, ojahuri, kebabs, eggplant and pickle snacks and many other dishes. Sorry, not everyone had time to try it) Secondly, the hospitality and friendliness of the waiters. During each visit, I felt like I was visiting distant relatives) Finally, large portions and pleasant prices. Just take a look at the photo! I definitely recommend taking a look at Karavani and tasting Georgia in this place. Maybe you will have warm memories of your vacation inextricably linked with the cozy terraces of this restaurant.

A stunningly cozy restaurant with home cooking in the very center of Batumi. During our week-long stay, we visited many places, but in the end we made Caravans our favorite - delicious, welcoming, inexpensive and warm in an atmosphere like nowhere else. They will describe each dish, tell you what and how - the portions are large, cozy, and delicious at home. The food is hot from the heat, fragrant, beautifully served, flavored with Georgian spices and love for every guest. Khinkali, hashlama, dolba, khachapuri, kharcho, lobio, chakhokhbili and much more - our hearts and waist gain are with you) There has always been a human attitude and advice not to overdo it - won't we eat too much and ordered so much))) The place is also popular with local citizens - twice we watched a meeting of retired graduates with live music for 40 people, or a birthday party for a young girl. Foreigners are also involved, which also speaks to the reputation of the institution - the Chinese, the Germans, and we are Russians. There was always some kind of compliment for lunch from the kitchen - a portion of chacha, then an extra flatbread. The only drawback is the lack of a pastry chef and, as a result, the lack of desserts on the menu. Nothing stopped us, either - they brought their desserts to the delicious tea)) Special thanks to Irma, the gym employee. Give Irma greetings from Vera from Moscow - she knows and will be glad))

We had lunch at this restaurant several times, and with a difference of several years. We were looking for it again on purpose, because I remember it from the last time. Everything is at the same good level: the service is fast, delicious, there are always empty seats. There was live music in the evenings, which was nice. We were hesitant about the wine. We were given a sample of Tsolikauri. It turned out to be almost a glass of wine. We ordered 1 liter, brought 0.5 first and then 0.5 more. So that the wine was cold all the time. 3. Very fast feed. The food is delicious, not spicy at all. Everything can be safely given to children. 4. We asked several times if everything was in order and if we needed help. 5. Important: it turned out that there is no service fee = for the first time, up to GEL 100 came out with a delicious table and wine. We highly recommend this place.

It's really a restaurant, not a cafe, with a 0% service fee. In the evenings, live music screams, scares away visitors, and we sat on the outdoor veranda, which is quite convenient. The food is delicious, especially the barbecue, 400 grams for 17 lari, all portions are huge. Urban khinkali is normal at 1.8, but not very good, it is completely made from beef at 2.5, apparently tastier. But they can also mess up, they brought a heated liver in a frying pan. And we constantly took 20 GEL of wine, and once they brought it, apparently spoiled, with a different taste, after calling the senior, they changed it.

I've never eaten so tasteless before, never take fish in a bowl of sauce with bones that get stuck in your throat.....and never eat in khinkali and khachapuri here, everything is fresh, the taste is really specific. The service is normal, but apparently in Batumi you have to go to completely different places to eat.

We visited many cafes and restaurants in old Batumi. We stumbled upon this place by accident. The waiters are very good-natured and friendly. Good geolocation, and of course, the food… The food here is just space. Both the summer porch and the inside. The place is atmospheric. We've been here 2 times, tasted different food, and each time the food just melts in your mouth. Special thanks to the chef of the restaurant and the manager for such a great team! We've been to a lot of places, but this is probably the best place in Georgia. Excellent service, friendly staff. Most importantly, everything is very tasty. We were recently passing through Batumi, it was lunch time, we decided to go to this restaurant. I ordered a spicy one, my wife ordered vegetables with meat and my daughter ordered French fries. The cooking time was reported to be 15 minutes. h.h. 10- 15 minutes. my wife's order was brought, another h.h. 10-15 minutes. my order was brought- 70% of the type of veal meat in my dish was when meat is cut from the ribs and veins remain on the ribs - this will be veal meat, photos are attached. When asked when the fries would arrive, the waiter replied 3-4 minutes, 10 minutes passed. silence, I go down to the first floor, I have to swear, they finally bring my daughter's order.It feels like they order the delivery themselves from the McDonald's, which is nearby, and bring it to the table. Apologies- what is it???I don't recommend it.

Not impressed. To the question "what would you recommend from wine?" they strongly recommended "homemade" bottling. They took a glass, it sucks. I wasn't impressed with the food either. They took khinkali "urban", ojakhuri, kuchmachi, dolma. All the food is for three. We do not recommend it. Unfortunately, it was brought raw — the dough was clearly not baked, and this was not because of the filling, but precisely because of the structure of the dough itself. We drew the waitress's attention to this, but at first she was surprised: "Why couldn't you eat one khachapuri?", and then added that "actually, it should be cooked like this." I read good reviews and don't understand why they were written. We took ajakhuri and peeled (without dough) khachapuri. In ajakhuri, the beef is boiled, pale, and has solid veins. The potatoes were saved by pouring sauce. Khachapuri is the tasteless and driest one that we have tasted in 4 months of our life in Batumi (Baking is much tastier in bakery tents. Perhaps they did not choose the main dishes of this institution, but I think that khachapuri in Georgia is the base)

We were upset because it was the last evening and we wanted to have a good time. We chose a cafe after seeing the Caesar salad being served. As a result, "Caesar" turned out to be according to an individual cook's recipe, with cucumbers and instead of chicken they put pieces of ham, which with their chemical smell interrupted the whole taste of the salad. The veal steak turned out to be over-dried and rubbery, they did not eat it. The khinkali was delicious, but we asked for it back in the morning (for objectivity, we do not exclude rotovirus). I liked the baked suluguni cheese in a frying pan. In the end, there was an unexpected surprise, without warning, a 15% service bonus was added to the price in the invoice. Hello to the chef.
