Level 8 Local Expert

A small exhibition entirely dedicated to attire and personal effects of various Serbian kings, that mostly consists of crude reproductions (or even speculative reimaginings) and official portraits. These people were rich, got it. Frankly it's much more interesting to know Ljubica Obrenovic through her Turkish-come-European house (a very cool museum) and Milosh Obrenovic through his personal weaponry in the War Museum. This one's just dull. Brothers' expressions in the fresco for illustration.

The museum is small but interesting. A good exhibition, mainly tells about the history of the Serbian monarchy. Surprisingly, the building is huge, but there are not many halls. But it was interesting to examine it..

Museum of Serbian history, from the Middle Ages to the 19th century. century. It contains both the crown and regalia of King Peter, as well as reconstructions of medieval crowns and sceptre. The ticket price is very affordable.

An interesting and informative museum. The exhibition is only on the 1st floor. But in order to briefly get acquainted with the history of Serbia, you need to know English or Serbian. And it's a pity, but most of the exhibits are reconstructions (crowns and wands).

It's a small museum for the historical, and there's not much historical either. Paintings mostly. Perhaps the tour would have been more interesting.

The museum, although small - only three halls, but you will definitely stay here for a couple of hours. The museum offers interesting exhibitions covering the Middle Ages, the period 1804-1918, the period of liberation 1941-1945 and the post-war development of Serbia.
