Mala Remeta Monastery in honor of the Intercession of the Most Holy Theotokos is a convent of the Serbian Orthodox Church. It is believed that the monastery was founded in the 13th century by King Dragutin of Serbia. The first written mention of the Mala Remeta monastery was found in a Turkish document from 1546. The Turkish property census of the monastery in 1588 is also known. But then the Turks plundered this monastery. The monastery stood abandoned until 1679, when monks from the Racha monastery moved into it (after its destruction) and restored it. In 1739-1759, the monastery was reconstructed. In 1910, wall paintings were added.
