I visited more than 20 years ago. Respect to those who set up and continue to manage the history of this sad and at the same time fascinating building, its first inhabitants and their lives. I recently re-read my copy of Tynyanov’s ‘House on the Embankment’, and the memory of this little museum came back. Do go and visit it, it’s worth the effort…
