10/10
We spent 3 nights here and it was fantastic.
The location of the hotel is what attracted my attention in the first place - it sits right in the middle of the old town within walking distance from all the major sites (Registan square is a 5 min walk, Siab market is a 10 min walk, it takes 15 to get to Hazrat Hizr and about the same time to Shah-i-Zinda all of which I would highly recommend to visit btw). Also this area is packed with Restaurants, Cafes and Supermarkets within 5-10 mins from the hotel so it's close but at the same time isolated and you won't be disturbed by noise or crowds (few cars pass through the residential area which is also a big advantage if u ask me). The hotel itself is very neat, tidy and you can feel it is looked after well. I would assume it is a family business and the owners are super welcoming, friendly and helpful. The room we stayed in was cozy and convenient, it had all the amenities and despite the fact we didn't spend much time there we enjoyed it a lot.
We were also offered breakfast included in the price, however we had it only once (it was good, it's just that we prefer to walk somewhere to dine).
I would also point out we could pay by card (particularly, via Sberbank online transfer) which, as it turned out, was not very common in Uzbek hotels.
I will add some photos to my review later.
Anyways, definitely recommend staying here if you want to spend your time in Samarkand checking out the local sites while being surrounded by comfort and peace. Would love to visit again!
It's been an absolute pleasure to dine in Afsona. The place is, first of all, visually appealing with its interior successfully blending traditional Uzbek attributes with contemporary minimalistic design, complimented with dimmed warm lighting. The staff is welcoming and helpful. I would also point out that the waiters were quite professional, which as we later noticed, was not that common in Tashkent. The menu offers a wide variety of traditional Uzbek dishes. We did not have to wait long for our food to arrive. It was made of fresh and delicious veggies as well as meat. I would recommend Tavuk Say which kinda reminded me of classic Georgian chakhakhbili - it was fantastic. Cheburek and Samsa were also nice, so were the crispy eggplant salad and plov. I was surprised to see the bar menu so large and diverse, it had both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks. We got ourselves buckthorn tea and an NA Pina Colada - both were good.
I would def recommend visiting if you want to try traditional high quality Uzbek cuisine for quite a reasonable price

Awfully organized commute. If you happen to ride D2 down to Rizhskaya where it terminates, be ready to walk 10-15 mins to this station through construction areas with vague direction signs just to continue your ride further along D2. So far the worst experience I've had with MCDs. Seriously it ain't that hard to put enough signs or make sure trains don't terminate at Rizhsky railway terminal instead of MCD Rizhskaya.
An awesome place to walk around in the rain. Has got some outstanding authentic architecture but u gotta know the spots. I would also point out the accessibility of taxis here which is not always the case in Moscow region.
The bar has become my favourite place to grab a coupla cold ones with homies quite a while ago. And in over ten years that I've been a loyal customer not much has changed which is awesome indeed. A wide variety of beers to choose from be that taps or bottles, delicious cuisine although the food menu is quite simple (but hey ur here for the beers u know). Friendly and helpful staff will never let u down. Absolute legend of a pub. A 10/10 fo sure
Guys serously u gotta update ur website and the info about ur restaurants on the major resourses ASAP. All the phones provided are invalid, the website is not operational at all, half of the restaurants no longer exist (and the ones that seem to still exist are located inconveniently. Was really looking forward to dinner here but this whole combination of misleading info did its best to prevent us from visiting🤦🏻♂️
Really unfortunate!
Dirty and messy. Spent like half an hour waiting for the waiter to clean our table and take our orders but he never came lol so we just left.
Def would not recommend visiting unless ur already wasted and no longer care about anything

A beautiful place with a variety of interesting sites inside offers a pleasant walking expereince and beautiful photos with the views of downtown St Pete 😍
I was surprised it closed so early but still enjoyed my time there
10/10 def a must-visit 🤜🏻🤛🏻
The place itself is alright, its bright and spacious so u can spend ur time choosing from a variety of bags and stuff, but nothing special tbh. My gf is somewhat of a fan of the brand. We came for a certain bag she picked from the website, however to our surprise and disappointment it was not in stock 🤦🏻♂️
Had to pre-order it later and collect in the Moscow boutique, so everything is alright.
I would give it a 6/10 cauz it has some interesting designs indeed. Altho the quality of the products was not always great from what I saw myself and in my opinion the brand itself could be managed better 🤔
