Very small airport. New wings expecting opening soon this year. Nothing much to shop n walk around as soon as uve passed tru the immigration into Departure Ball and Boarding gate. Packed with passengers sitting n standing in this small square area. It has a nice alpine view at the tarmac no doubt. That's only plus point to add.
So many varities of chocolate candies, chocolate truffle, wafers etc at factory price. U can't leave Almaty without bringing back home some
