Ever since the renovation, the place have been really up to the standards — the station itself comes with plenty of amenities, but do keep in mind that the trains are actually stopping below the main building, so it can be confusing if you're not familiar with the layout
Amazing! As a military geek I had to visit this place and I was not disappointed. The fact that I was able to see in person some of the most famous pieces of artillery and military vehicles that previously I could only read about speaks for itself. I also loved the fact that I could see some of the communications equipment which doesn't get as much spotlight as artillery and air defence do.
As a bonus, there's also a couple of cats sitting on tanks and other equipment just looking hardcore
Absolutely essential St Petersburg spot! Imposing, impressive, it's really hard to describe the sensation of visiting this place. Something that really needs to be experienced first hand.
While the exterior is quite interesting and something that probably a lot of people would immediately associate with Russian architectural style when it comes to churches, the interior is something that is truly out of this world
Great offer of gear in various price ranges. Saved me quite a bit as boots I arrived in were no match for St Petersburg weather. Here I manage to get a new pair of infantry-style natural leather boots at a very nice discount. Also got a molle pouch as they are half the price I would have expect and of amazing quality with durable materials.
Absolutely mind-blown! When I decided to visit, I didn't expect too much as I've never been much into navy but the amount of history that this ship has seen is just amazing! Not only that, the whole exhibit (within the ship interior) is so well thought out and full of amazing details that really bring that rich history to life. Not to mention an amazing view of the city from the deck. If you're visiting St Petersburg don't miss out on this experience!
