Giving one star because I cannot give less.
The journey from Moscow to Riga was nightmarish. The voyage was estimated at 25 hours, which is a bit steep but fine, until it became evident that customers are absolutely not valued: broken air conditioning, broken coffee machine, toilet not working. We had to spend the night seated in uncomfortable chairs, sweating, and with just two toilet stops along the way.
The next morning we stopped at the customs between the two countries, where we were finally told that the waiting time could be upwards to 24 hours just to cross. An information that, for companies that respect their customers, should be given out as a priority.
Our driver's favorite sentence was "I don't know" when asked literally anything, with some crude jokes thrown in for good measures. They could afford it after all, the service was stellar up to that point. Not.
Expensive, dishonest and badly equipped. I would not recommend Ecolines to my worst enemy. Needless to say, I would not touch the company again with a 20 feet pole.
If Ecolines is your only choice to get to your destination, consider staying home, or going on foot, since the latter is how it is going to end anyway.
