Fake "Intercontinental" Hotel I booked a room advertised as part of the Intercontinental brand on a booking website, only to later discover it was falsely listed under this reputable name. Despite my reservations, I decided to proceed with the stay—a decision I deeply regret due to the following issues: - The room was far too small to accommodate a third bed comfortably, resulting in a cramped and impractical sleeping arrangement. The "extra bed" provided was tiny and unsuitable for an adult. - The bathroom design featured a partially transparent wall, offering zero privacy for non-couple guests. When I raised this concern, the receptionist informed me that all rooms follow the same layout, making the hotel an inappropriate choice for friends, family, or business travelers. - Despite the already limited space, the hotel had left a chair in the room, obstructing movement and making the space feel more like a furniture storage area than a functional hotel room. While staff eventually offered to remove it (after my complaint), this did not resolve the fundamental issues with the room's size and design. - When I requested a reasonable solution, no alternatives were available unless I paid three times the original rate. This response demonstrates a clear disregard for guest satisfaction, especially given the misleading branding and substandard conditions. The hotel should adjust its pricing to reflect its true standards—not mislead guests into expecting a premium service and stay.
