We traveled around Georgia by car in November 2023. We stayed in different guesthouses, there is something to compare. I will note that we are not very picky and were looking for accommodation within 100 GEL per night. Accommodation was booked everywhere through Booking. When we went to Sighnaghi, we decided not to book in advance, but to find accommodation directly from the owners, since we know that all services charge a commission. We chose a house with a view of the Alazani Valley, the view is certainly stunning, and this is probably all of the advantages. Although the breakfast was also not bad (for 30 GEL for two). Then we realized why we had made a discount for breakfast.
We were asked for GEL 90 per night. It seemed expensive to me, but the view was important to us, so we agreed. Here was our surprise, when I had already given the cash, I decided to check the price on the booking. And what do you think? 70 GEL for our room. To put it mildly, we were deceived. And it's not even 20 lari, but deception. Very unpleasant!!! We didn't say anything to the hostess, well, we didn't look at it in advance. But I think it's disgusting. This is the first trouble, and I will probably say that it was she who spoiled the whole impression of this institution. The second disadvantage is that the bathroom with toilet is shared with another room. Next - there is no normal light in the bathroom, only above the mirror. There is no heating in the house, and the nights are already quite cool. There is a kitchen, BUT there is no tea and coffee in the kitchen for guests - it is also unclear to me. Of course, I am silent about individual hygiene products, of course there are none. There are no slippers either. In general, the rating of this guesthouse on Booking is 9.4, but why the hell, I don't understand at all.
I strongly DO NOT RECOMMEND this place to stop!
