Izmir Zoo has left the most pleasant impressions! I especially remember graceful giraffes, playful monkeys and majestic lions. I really liked that the animals are kept in spacious enclosures where they can behave naturally. I was pleased that the zoo pays great attention to the educational component, telling visitors about each inhabitant. I've been here all day and I've never been bored. Be sure to visit this wonderful place! 🦁🦒🐒

This is the second time we have visited Izmir Zoo. I really like this place. During the day, of course, it is hot in the summer, some animals lie in the shade, not active. They are mostly predators. There are many, very diverse animals. Peacocks roam freely on the territory. Payment is by Izmirim card. This year, 80 tl per adult. There is a card replenishment machine near the entrance, and you can also pay with visa or Mastercard. There are many places on the territory where you can get drinking water and wash there. Lots of shops, all in the shade. They opened a museum with skeletons of various animals. It's very interesting to see. So I recommend the zoo, and I think we'll come back more than once.

Excellent zoo, large territory, animals are not crowded. We had a great time. I am delighted with the aviary, which looks like a savannah, it is huge and there are zebras and giraffes in it, and a hippopotamus lies in the swamp at the edge :)
