I think this place is a must see in Doha. It's worth getting here. Tourists should keep in mind that on Friday in Doha, the subway opens at 14:00. And although there is a Qatar metro station, on Friday morning you can only get there by taxi. The most interesting places on the territory are the Golden Mosque, the Blue Mosque, the amphitheater, the pigeon towers, and many original art objects. There are many restaurants, not only oriental, but also with European cuisine.
Of all the attractions in Doha, Qatar is probably the one I liked the most. The artificiality of the city is least felt here, along with Suk Waqif. Make sure to set aside time to visit this village.
Like everything in Doha, it is very beautiful from the outside: architecturally, East meets West. An unusual fountain, a small exhibition hall where bazaars with local brands of clothing, jewelry, etc. are organized. There are many coffee shops and restaurants. And there's even a bookstore! Great for one time. Then only for the sake of specific restaurants.
