This cool hotel is close to the city center. The view of the Bosphorus from the windows is just great! Breakfasts, which are even five-star, are served on the terrace with a steep view. The hotel is conveniently located next to bus stops and the port of GALATA.
Apart from the beautiful view in the hotel, you will not get anything else positive..
- Noise (on the 6th and 7th floor there is a restaurant that is open daily until 03:00 at night) because of this, the room is very noisy and constantly smells of cigarettes and hookah! The music could be heard all the way up to the 3rd floor..
- There is no air conditioning system at all .. and no one can solve the problem! For the first 2 days, the air conditioner barely worked at 18 degrees, blew warm air, for the next 3 days it did not work at all! I was in an error state! To which the staff threw up their hands and said that they could not help in any way.. the masters will arrive in a week.. and that's what they tell absolutely everyone!
We slept on the floor, with the window open.. for a moment there was a view of the Bosphorus and the busy main road .. There was no peace at all! It's very noisy!
- Breakfast is NOT a BUFFET as stated! They bring the coveted food! There is no choice at all! Eat what they bring
The bathroom is terrible. There is no shower cabin in the classical sense, and after taking a shower, water is everywhere, because there is also an incorrect tilt towards the drain.
Cleaning was done according to schedule, towels were changed, but the slippers were taken away from us and new ones were not left. I had to go after them myself. The magnetic lock in our room was repaired twice. We didn't use the air conditioner. Breakfast at the hotel is classic Turkish. Not bad, but it's the same every day. The coffee was great! And of course the view of the Bosphorus! You can admire it endlessly. That's why we rented this hotel.
It's not worth the money, the only advantage is the view of the Bosphorus. We lived on the 5th floor, so there was music from the 6th until 2-3 nights, it was not comfortable to sleep. Monotonous breakfasts, tired on the 3rd day, the waiters constantly forgot to bring something from breakfast, I had to remind them 2-3 times.
Terrible bathroom! There is no curtain or shower stall in the classical sense. A shower and a drain hole. After taking a shower, there is water EVERYWHERE in the bathroom, there is nothing to wipe it with except a towel, which is unacceptable for me personally. Breakfast is typically Turkish, plentiful, my husband and I liked it. The staff is friendly and helpful, which is nice. The rooms are cleaned like everywhere else. There are flaws, but not critical. The bed is comfortable.
An old hotel, broken showers. They can be repaired on request. Russians are accommodated in bad rooms near the elevator, on low floors, where it is noisy.
But breakfast is great.
