In short: my favorite, I compare any food with a memory from this restaurant. A must-visit. But unfortunately not an objective assessment, because it was the first conscious restaurant of this level (as well as the first love - one and forever)
Interior: I don't even know what to say, because you are sitting in the Eiffel Tower, so the interior of minimalism is a luxury. Everything is focused on not distracting from the view. By the way, the view is not the highest floor, but you see not only Paris, but also the design of the tower, which greatly adds to the entourage. And another interesting fact is that Jules Verne, the critic after whom the restaurant is named, hated the Eiffel Tower and believed that it spoils Paris, so when the waiter asked:
"why do you visit us every day?"
- He answered
"this is the only place where you can't see the Eiffel Tower"
Service: it's just amazing, this is one of the first places in the world where they learned how to remove bread crumbs from the table with golden mittens! Here you will be served so much that you will be shy and obviously leave a generous tip. I want to note that I read this place as a child, and called as a child from the Russian Federation (then there were no roaming charges) directly to their number - in addition to the fact that they really took me in and booked a table, they refunded the money for the call!
Food: I'll tell you how it is - this is a very well-promoted Michelin restaurant, also in the center of one of the most touristic places in the world! It was the first place like this for me, and I remember it more for the atmosphere, but I remember the duck with potato gratin from the set very well, and I'm unlikely to ever forget. I think that in establishments of this level it is simply necessary to take a set and wine accompaniment
Drinks: unfortunately, I cannot appreciate it, because when I visited, I was extremely young and could not take wine accompaniment. However, the next time I come to Paris, the first thing I will do is correct this mistake. After looking at the menu, I can only say that the wine list here is solid and can please any fanatic
Total: for me, any Michelin restaurant will always be associated with this, because it was the first! This is a restaurant for which I will return to Paris on purpose, and I will wait for a repeat visit more than any excursion. I advise everyone to close their eyes to the price, overcrowding with tourists, and be sure to visit this place
This is one of the most amazing restaurants in the world!
It's not easy to book, even for lunch 2-3 weeks in advance.
An advance payment of 225 euros per person is immediately withdrawn. It's expensive, but it's worth it! The impressive views and excellent dishes left the most indelible impressions.
It is not possible to order a menu at lunch, only a set of several dishes.
Book, pay and do not think about it, you will remember this all your life!
