We had a rest at the guest house in August 2024. We met wonderful people.
Wonderful and hospitable hosts. Now everything is in order:
I wrote to Gula that we would arrive in the morning, because the room was free, they settled in immediately. We came across a new building, with new clean rooms.
I've read a lot of reviews. I'll say this, you choose a guest house and think you're going to a 5* hotel. Of course, it may be that some left and left something broken, and this may be. But once you say it, they will do everything.
To the sea, went out of the house and to the sea!The sky-colored purest sea from which you do not want to go out for hours! The air is such that it is impossible to breathe enough of it! The beach is clean, but the pebbles are better to wear special slippers.
There is a dining room on site, the food is very tasty. The prices are reasonable.Someone wrote that the monotony. Cook it yourself. This is not a cafe for you.
The dishes are clean. If the residents themselves do not clean up after themselves and do not wash the dishes, then where should they be clean? Everything was clean, I ate, cleaned, washed.
There were problems with the power outage, well, somehow they adjusted. If you treat everything with a negative attitude, then rest is smart.
There is also a cafe not far from the guest house, a variety, and of course the prices are not like Guli's.
Svetlana and Irina cook everything very tasty, both the first and second and pastries. You won't stay hungry. Everything is homemade. Thank them very much.
There is a veranda with stunning sea views.
Someone wrote that things don't dry, well, of course I'm shocked. What does the guest house have to do with it? The house is located by the sea, it's humidity, there are plenty of dryers outside, everything dries well in the sun. Of course, the laundry did not dry out at night.But what kind of claims can there be to the owners?
Cats, dogs, live on the territory, but they are very kind, children played with them.
Maybe there won't be any next year. Who is going, please specify, if you are allergic to animals, then you are not here.
In general, Abkhazia is our love for always, we do not say goodbye and we will definitely return to this guest house!!!!

My two stars are the advantages of the Pearl. The first is the sea within walking distance, and the second is a wonderful orange tree in the yard. That's it, there are no more advantages! I don't understand why there are so many positive reviews!
The room is damp, the garbage was not cleaned regularly, and the communal kitchen is dirty. Cats, dogs, kittens. The owners are busy building a new building, so the guest house is abandoned. The lights were constantly turned off because of the construction site.
By God, it's high time to throw the kettle in the communal kitchen in the trash and repair the cabinet doors!If the kettle is on, then the microwave does not warm from the word at all!
The food in the dining room is tasteless, you can eat solyanka and boats.
Maybe it was good before, since the place itself is not bad, but you need to pay attention to your business.
I do not recommend it and I will not recommend it to any of my friends!

It looks like a pleasant place, cats are running around. The staff that is there only works when the hostess arrives, and so they ate hee-hee haha constantly, they serve food for a fee, so they also wash themselves, but it's nothing like that.
At night, mosquitoes can bite you, which will cause red spots, they infuriated me then, there are free sun beds, thank you for that.

We had a rest in July 2023, the hotel is on the very shore of the sea, a very quiet place, the owners are very good people, responsive, met at the train station, which is very convenient when you come to Abkhazia for the first time. The room is clean, excellent bathroom, hot water constantly. There are a lot of vacationers, all rooms are occupied, a lot of children, but it does not affect the rest in any way. Many people come not for the first time. Sukhum itself was very impressed, it was the impression that they returned to the 90s, and what a market! There is everything in huge quantities, bargain - I don't want to, they are inferior in price, everything is as before in my youth. Taxi drivers along the way will tell you everything, explain, show you. Bus fare to the market is 10 rubles. If you want a break from the hustle, music and all that, then you definitely need a Pearl.

Upon arrival, it became clear that the SNT was not a hotel.. Relatives live, they are interested in their personal lives, the dampness in the rooms is terrible, there is nothing to breathe in a closed territory as it covers waves in a storm from the wind.. Cats, dogs are constantly fighting with other dogs, a rat was running on the ceiling, paws were visible, a scorpion crawled into the shower.Unsanitary conditions in the kitchen, the washing machine is rusty.The positive reviews were clearly written either by the hostess herself or at her huge request ... I had to leave, the money was not returned for the remaining days . The vacation is ruined.

We rested with my husband in September 2023 for 9 days. Only the best impressions of this wonderful place remained. It's like we've been to heaven. Wonderful and good-natured hosts, excellent chefs Irina and Svetlana. The sea immediately from the gate))) it was important to me because my legs hurt. The sea is clean, the sun beds are free, the dolphins are pleasing. I really want to go back to a cozy paradise place. Thank you very much Gulya for a quiet family)))rest. We vacationed in Zhemchuzhina from June 18 to June 29, 2023.
First of all, I would like to note the warm and welcoming atmosphere that prevails at this base. My husband, my children and I felt like part of a large and friendly Abkhazian family. We lived in a 4-bed room on the ground floor. This is a small 2-room room, with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. The room has a bathroom, satellite TV, air conditioning, refrigerator.
1. Cleaning and change of linen / towels was carried out every 4 days, which is extremely important for me on vacation.
2. The territory is closed, clean, well maintained. Lots of greenery, flowers...a large terrace overlooking the sea, falling asleep and waking up to the sound of waves is a separate kind of buzz.
3. There is a canteen on the territory of the base. There is always an assortment of ready meals, which is very convenient. On vacation, the last thing I wanted to do was strain myself with cooking for my fastidious children, but I also didn't want to stuff them with dried milk from the beach, either
. Your pancakes with cheese and noodle soup from Svetlana is our love. And the boats from the owner of the Guli base are just a gastronomic orgasm, I have not found such delicious ones in Sukhum anymore.
In general:
if you tolerate periodic power and water outages, which occur everywhere in Abkhazia;
if you are interested in the clear sea, beautiful nature, positive kind people;
if you are not looking for the highest service for a low price;

We were vacationing with our family in Zhemchuzhina from 08/16/14 to 08/29.24. We were met from the border, got acquainted. On the way, they told us everything, offered to stop by the store if you need to buy something. Upon arrival, Gulya met us. Although we arrived late, we were fed dinner and treated to beer at the expense of the hotel. It's a small thing, but it's nice! The room is clean, everything is renovated. In the morning, when we went out to drink coffee, we saw dolphins. In the afternoon we met a wonderful family: Natalia, Evgeny, Janochka. And our vacation has become even brighter and more intense. This is a wonderful family, positive. We spent our evenings on the veranda located on the second floor overlooking the sea! We admired the moonlight path, the lapping of the waves and the beautiful sunset. We had dinner with one big family! There is a dining room in the kitchen, where 2 wonderful chefs work: Svetlana and Irina. Thank you very much for your hard work! In the evening, you can play table tennis, and Mikhail (Guli's husband) will be happy to join you. Gulya allowed me to try their oranges. Who rested at Guli knows that you will not try more of these oranges! We also met wonderful people: Vlad, Elena, Irina, Ekaterina, Anastasia, Vitaly, Dmitry....These are all people who have been coming to Zhemchuzhina for several years.This is a big indicator that people are comfortable there.The room is cleaned on request, bed linen and towels are changed every 3 days. It was a pity to part with everyone, everyone from different parts of the country, but everyone has already become family. We promised to meet all together next year!!! Gulya, wait for us!!! The "Summer Veranda" promises to return!!!

We have been vacationing in this wonderful place since 10.09. A great place for a quiet, comfortable stay and for those who are tired of the daily hustle and bustle. Quiet, peaceful and very cozy. The first coastline, the sea is clean, the beach is free, there are no screaming, annoying sellers offering their products and services every minute. Dolphins splash in the sea all day long. The sea is visible only if you climb above the kitchen to a small veranda.! We wanted to sleep and hear the sound of the surf, but we had to sleep with the windows closed so as not to listen to the noise from the yard and with the air conditioner on.
