The railway station deserves attention. Compared to previous years. It has become a worthy building, you need to compare it even with the capitals of all countries. Awesome
I really like to have coffee machines and cafes. It is convenient to buy tickets at the terminal. The waiting room on the second floor is warm, you can sit, eat, drink a cocktail.
It's a good train station when you enter the ceilings are high))) sometimes there are long queues to buy a ticket, but in general everything is fine, good sellers.
Where can you go without your native train station, the place where everything starts and where everything ends. The station is comfortable enough for a stay. The cash registers work wonderfully and quickly. There are cafes, toilets. Good separation between suburban and intercity services.
Very comfortable rest rooms at the train station. Reasonable price, cleanliness and order. Responsive and professional staff.impressions are only positive from both service and comfort
It's all good. The smoking areas are very strangely located

As a visiting guest and having never been to Gomel, when I went to the train station and saw Ilyich there, I realized that I had come to a Soviet-era city. After walking around the city, my expectations were confirmed. In my opinion, it's time to change something, and Ilyich on the square is quite enough for the city. You need to look to the future, but it feels like you're getting out of a time machine, not a train. Make a modern renovation, as they say in the comments below-the train station is the face of the city! Only now it's already very old.
Immediately about the inconveniences, ticket offices for the purchase of train tickets are located on the left side of the station, and ticket offices for the purchase of train tickets on the right, from the left side of the station you can get to the first one only along the street, Li bo through the underpass, but it is without excavators, ordinary stairs. Due to ignorance of this information, you may have to walk around in search of the cash registers you need. There are waiting rooms both in one part of the station and in the other. There are special transporting devices for descending into the underground tunnel under the station, designed for the disabled. From the underground tunnel, you can get to the platform using the lift available there) The station looks huge from the outside but not very big inside.
It is not the best train station for the regional center. It is divided into a suburban and a long-distance railway station. The waiting rooms are small. There is a buffet, in principle, you can eat. I put a huge plus for the rest rooms - inexpensive, right in the station building, you can spend the night without problems.
Everything is wonderful: cozy, modern equipment, comfortable.
The second floor is only half empty, probably something is already in the plan. It would be interesting as a zone for travel agencies in a colorful ambient
A worthy monument of classicism, large, spacious, many times exceeds the passenger traffic. I was pleased with the presence of the Batsky cafe and a phone charging stand in the waiting room on the second floor.
Gomel is a clean city . The station is clean, the bins are constantly cleaned. I saw how the paving stones were washed with a brush with water near the urns and benches. A luggage locker costs 2 Belarusian rubles (60 Russian rubles) and if I understood correctly, it's for a day. But in St. Petersburg 500 rubles for 6 hours, and in Moscow 600 rubles.
It is located in the central part of the city. There are enough parking spaces. There is a toilet. There is a cafe, you can have a snack. Next to the Dionysus shopping center. Cash registers in sufficient quantity
It so happened that during my three visits to Gomel, I have never been to the railway station building. But in July, I saw a video of the Minsk guide Natalia Senkevich and decided that next time I would start a walk around Gomel with an inspection of this particular building. I really liked the inside. And the combination of colors, and a large bronze chandelier, and stained glass windows, and a beautiful staircase leading to the second floor, and Lenin pointing to the exit. It's clean and bright here. By the way, in 2003 the Gomel railway station building was included in the State List of Historical and Cultural Values of the Republic of Belarus.
She gets prettier and prettier every day. Professionals work at the ticket offices. It's nice to see the order, because our city starts from the train station.
The station is located in the city center and there are many shops and food outlets around it, but there are not enough parking spaces. Long queues are rare, but they move quickly.
Interesting architecture, nice design, the absence of small cafes with a variety of goods, of course they are in minimal quantity, but in my opinion this is not enough for the railway station of the regional center.
There is a large cozy train station, many ticket offices and there are machines for buying tickets via a card. On the second floor, you can pass the time waiting for your train. And take a book to read, and there are also shops on the second floor. There is a toilet at the station, it is located on the ground floor, and it is paid.
