Not so many years ago, the station was modernized, repairs were made, and taxi drivers were dispersed. Nevertheless, the station is not made for people at all. Everything to make it uncomfortable. Pray not to arrive on the 2-3 way with a suitcase. There are only steps everywhere. Even the gates were recently closed so that everyone could leave the train through the station. Although the gate was the most convenient way to get from the train to the station square and take a taxi. Boarding a taxi from another place is very difficult. There are convenient bus parking lots in front of the station, several bus lanes. At the same time (!) there are no places to disembark/board a taxi. People jump out of a taxi almost on the move from lane 3 in the square. There is also a paid parking lot from where it is convenient to leave by car. It's always cold inside the station. Especially in spring, autumn, and winter. There is no decent coffee shop, only Soviet canteens with instant coffee and biscuits. I am reluctant to come here every time and I am glad when I leave this place. the most uncomfortable and uncomfortable place in my favorite city, unfortunately

There is no place to charge the phone, I found single sockets near the cash register, but there is no sign of the scoreboard... It's like the train station is not in Almaty, but in the wilderness. There is no parking, from the word at all, so you have to stop right on the road.
