Railway station. It's old, very shabby in places. Of course, there are videos everywhere that money was stolen along the improvement line . The staff is helpful. There is relatively inexpensive food on site.
A visually terrible place, no modern technology, uncomfortable seats, when there is nowhere to sit in a full waiting room, parking is not convenient, and also someone illegally charges you for this parking space, no check for you, no amenities for you.
A nice, spacious and welcoming train station. The main thing is that everything you need is there, and what you don't have can be found nearby.
Nothing changes in his inner life, although the leadership is changing...
Boarding and arrival are announced, at the entrance they are checked through the counter. There are paid storage rooms, we gave 3000tg for 2 suitcases, but I did not like that there is not a single urn inside, that is, the child drank juice and there is nowhere to throw it.
The station is frankly not very good. There is a place to have a snack and buy food for the road, you can even get a haircut, but why? But it is inconvenient because of the second floor and there is little space for waiting
I was in Alma-Ata many years ago! I think that Almaty railway station has only become better and more convenient for passengers!

A good train station. Convenient access roads.Paid parking is available nearby. There are many canteens and shops inside. Comfortable seats for passengers waiting for the flight. Excellent exits to the platforms.
A huge station building in the old part of Almaty. The passenger access system is extremely poorly established. Most of the doors are closed. And when a train consisting of 20 cars arrives on the 1st track, then there is a terrible crush on Peron. It is extremely unsafe.
The old railway station, what was done with the forecourt is generally darkness, a very bad decision, traffic jams, traffic for cars in fact in one row. The same as at the Almaty 2 train station. The truce.
The railway station is not very convenient, honestly, and does not pull for 3 stars.
There is no convenient lift and descent for people.
The last time a disabled person with things and so many stairs up, there are no lifts. Not convenient, especially for the disabled. There is an elevator, but then you still have to climb the stairs.
The station does not have air conditioning, but there is a relatively inexpensive hotel with air conditioning in the room. You can eat in small eateries, but they do not have the cleanliness that you would like. The dining room on the forecourt is also dirty.
The feeling of a train station from the 90s did not leave
It's all good. But they didn't think about the denouement. During rush hour, when trains arrive, there is an unrealistic traffic jam. And you stand for hours at a time and it's very bad who wants to leave by train.
The infrastructure is very extensive
You can buy almost everything you need for a trip, food, newspapers, and essential medicine.
There are hairdressers, hotels, canteens.
There is a free restroom in the basement
There are plenty of storage rooms
A large number of cash registers
It is better to buy tickets through the app rather than through the ticket office. Incompetence of cashiers!!!! Tickets were bought at the Almaty-1 railway station.
Toilets are paid. There is parking, but there are few places for such a station. The service is good. The staff is helpful. There are a lot of cash registers.excellent repair. The platforms are convenient. There is a cafe
It is convenient to enter the right wing (if facing the station) - without steps! In the same hall, I printed tickets by order number (it was a long time ago), the staff was responsive and polite, they helped. I especially highlight the transition to the second platform (tracks 2 and 3) through the top via escalators, it is much more pleasant than using an underground passage. The train dispatch board is large, easy to read, the information is up-to-date, visible from everywhere.
I liked the station, the benches were changed. The escalators are working, because last time it was, it was trash (and now it's nice. It's clean everywhere, I noticed there is Parking for the disabled.

The train station is nearby. There is no parking. Everything is very boring, especially the bus parking. The cafe is expensive, the assortment is meager.
I have never traveled by train, but I often visited Almaty-1.
I can only say one thing. Buses arrive that go to any point of the city of Almaty and the Almaty region.
I love Alma-Ata.
Everything is beautifully cozy inside the station. We can have a snack. You can pay for Caspian red, not everywhere, of course, but there is. But there is one thing. For some reason, only two cash desks are working 1,2. Although there are a lot of cash desks inside, everyone is sent to these two cash desks, there is always a queue. To get a boarding pass, you have to stand in line. While waiting in line, I almost missed the train. And in order to return the ticket, you also need to go to these two ticket offices and wait in line. Then why the rest of the cash registers? There the cashiers sit and catch flies. These two cashiers work and because they always have a queue, the cashiers are nervous, they hardly answer questions, they are not quick. For that, the toilet was made free of charge.
Our railway stations are always distinguished by the most negative appearance, dirt, especially toilets, the staff can be said not to have it, the queue is like a water park, and then you will not get there, there are always no tickets, for that they are always in large quantities and available at double the price. The cafes and stalls on the piron are unsanitary. Prices in these establishments are like in the best restaurants in Europe
Parking is not convenient. If you want to continue on the bus, then it is simply impossible to find the right route in the abundance of stops. Therefore, it is better to prepare in advance.
I waited in line at the KTZ ticket office for a long time, I wanted to buy a ticket. As a result, without waiting, I bought online and cleared the queue. I went to the information desk to print out the ticket, and there they told me that they would print it out for you at the ticket office, where I had been standing for a long time and did not wait in line. At least they would have installed ticket printing machines. I had to stand again, because the person who asked to buy tickets asked for "real" tickets. Then I let a disabled woman through. The station employee said that I can print tickets on the 2nd floor, where there is a connection. I went there and printed out 4 tickets (simple 4 A4 sheets) for as much as 400 tenge.
Our train station is our pain, our gateway to the city. Then the escalator does not work, from autumn to next summer it is just a box without heating. Maybe you need to sell it? In summer, by the way, all metal heats up, and it becomes almost like the streets 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
What for? Why did they make such a ring? Make at least 2 roads for all transport and 1.5 roads for buses, so that if one is at a stop, the second one can pass.
Ideally, 2 1.5 lanes for buses (pockets for them), 2.5 for the rest of the transport. At the same time, add pockets too. And the recumbent one should be made so that it would be parallel to the pockets. Then who will need to stop by for a stop, and others will pass through.
And now there is ONE lane for driving, because the second one is for the taxi driver, which the police scare away every time.
A lot of people are all going somewhere, someone is seeing someone off, someone is meeting at the station beautifully, good people are fine, everything is fine, I just sat watching it like an anthill
