The hotel is 3 stars, not 5. The territory is steep. The rooms are tired, with engineering problems. The animation is active and interesting. The beach is not too clean. The food is 50×50, sauces may not be very fresh, sausage and cheeses are not edible to our taste, there have been days with delicious dishes from meat, there have been with a meager assortment. Local alcohol is weak, but nothing hurts in the morning) It is not very suitable for holidays with children, the kids' club is terrible, as is the playground. Check-in. We were offered two children + a stroller by the "butiful veri good room", as the man who carried our suitcases said. And in fact we were settled in a room on the 3rd floor with a view of the pool with music. There was no limit to my anger. Shakily, we were moved to the first floor with a view of a quiet courtyard. There are ants in the room, the furniture is old, the linen is in pellets, the cleaning is so-so.
Food. My husband and I were upset, but then we adapted and were not hungry. Separately, I want to note that in a restaurant where breakfast/lunch/dinner there is no dress code, everything is in whatever, the dishes are poorly washed, the high chairs are dirty, BUT the wildest thing is that they will give you 1 piece of meat, and an Arab 5 for you.

The sea is disgusting. The approach is 400 meters knee-deep, then the corals. If the tide is out, it's just mud. There is a pier, you can go down from the pier. In March it is very cold after sunset and there is a constant wind. There are always sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach. Almost every chaise longue has a screen against the wind. Sometimes the screen flew into us-the wind was so strong. Of the advantages - a large territory, a lot of greenery, very polite staff (maybe daily Alyonka contributed to this), cleaning is normal. By the end of the vacation, we had about 6 towels). And the rooms are very spacious!!! Delicious vegetables. Before leaving, they gave the scales to the room-they were very helpful. Wi-Fi is only available in the lobby and in the dining room.

The food is monotonous and tasteless, there is little meat, there is almost no chicken, the pasta is disgusting, the dishes are all Arabic with lots of spices and seasonings and overcooked or undercooked. There is no variety from the word at all. We ate French fries, fried eggs, and soup all the time. There is no ice cream. There is no fruit. There is no coffee at the bars. Vegetables are rubber. There are no coolers with water. There is no water in the refrigerators on the bars. The pool bars give the same thing every day - French fries and a hot dog (just bread and a paper sausage) or a burger (also bread and an overcooked cutlet). By and large, you will not stay hungry. But there is no way to compare it with Turkey.
Cleaning and cleanliness for three. They seem to be trying to clean up, but whatever. The rooms are unwashed, very superficially cleaned. The whole hotel is the same.
The sea is good only if you enter from the pier, and you really walk along it for 7-8 minutes (about 1 km). It's just a paddling pool from the shore and there's no other way. The beach is not particularly clean, the sand is crushed stones and shells, dusty. A child got a needle stuck in his leg on the beach.
Mostly Arabs, a few Germans, and a few Englishmen rest here. There are very few Russians. The contingent is peculiar. But this, by the way, is not a minus. Just a detail.
Don't go for a massage here!!!!!. Everyone who walked is shocked by the absurdity. They are brazenly bred for money, trying to steal something. They impose some services but they do not understand what.

We were in August 2023. This is my fifth trip. The reception staff is in Arabic style (very far from the European style of service). Room service is good only for tips. They do not engage with children, they do not play in the children's room. Animation for children of the lowest level. For adults, too, a low level (only invited artists for 30 minutes in the evening). There is no activity: yoga, bachata, exercise - only in the schedule on paper. Nutrition: a lot of fish (this is the first time in five visits). Queues for pancakes, pies, magno, shawarma. Everything is delicious. Drinks as usual, like cola, sprite, Fanta, juices. Large pools, slides for children. There are two pools for adults, they are hidden behind the buildings and it is very quiet there, a rest for the ears after children's laughter and screams.

A very mediocre hotel. The rooms have aged, some require urgent repairs. Somewhere the air conditioner may not work, somewhere there are problems with locks, plumbing, etc. There is no cleaning as such, every day they make the bed and scatter dust on the floor, sometimes they change towels (depends on tips) - that's all. For 11 days, the bed was not changed once, dead insects on the floor only moved around the room. The food is not bad in terms of variety, but this is Egypt, everything can be dangerous here - dirty water, not the best quality products, and of course the mentality of the staff. It is better to wash fruits, eat raw vegetables very carefully, drinks only from a bottle. There are several pools in the hotel, in fact there are 2 of them: imitation of the seashore and ordinary pools of different depths connected in one line. Pools are usually paid for by local vacationers with whole families, but you can find a place. In general, in the hotel, among all vacationers, Arabs have priority in everything number 1, this is directly obvious. The beach is a separate story, at low tide it looks terrifying, when the tide is quite decent. But do not expect to enter the sea on foot: the depth will appear in 100 meters, and you will not be able to walk because of the corals. There is a pier, there are 2 descents (the depth of the first is 120-170, the second is more than 200), at the end you can dive from the pier. There are half-dead corals under the pier, different fish come, take masks. The staff as a whole is strained (except for the reception, there are very arrogant and boorish individuals who are tricking me into making money on the guests), the staff of the dining room (main restaurant) instructs and instructs the management before each distribution - my respect. But the bars on the beach and by the pool are full of chaos and everything depends on the working shift. Snacks there are typical and generally not edible. Drinks: beer from bottles (they do not know how to pour, solid foam and very ugly pour the remnants of foam from all bottles into your glass, instead of pouring it carefully without foam), fanta, cola zero, sprite from balloons, regular cola and jupi - diluted from apparatuses (water is brought in dirty bottles from nowhere). Simple cocktails made from local alcohol or without it are free, more or less decent ones - $ 4-7, ice cream for lunch is free in bars. The Internet is only in the lobby and a little in the dining room, but with the influx of guests it may not pull at all. A local SIM card with a fixed GB for $ 7-15 at the airport or in any store solves the problem.

I liked the hotel. For a relaxing holiday, that's the thing. The food was varied and of high quality: there were meat and fish, a lot of vegetables / fruits, various side dishes. No one was poisoned or went hungry. A large well-maintained territory, some rooms are being renovated. Our room has not been renovated yet, but it is not "killed" either. All plumbing and furniture are in good condition. The sea is very beautiful, but to go to the depth of 250 meters along a wooden pier, but for that there is a large coral reef and many beautiful fish).
There is no animation in Russian, but we did not need it)

Positive:
-the hotel itself, infrastructure, clean well-groomed territory, swimming pools
- a varied diet (except for the nuance with watermelons)
- clean beach

Minuses:
- animation
They do absolutely nothing during the day. I had to beg for a volleyball myself. We searched the whole hotel for half an hour. After that, for the whole week of our stay, people were happy to come and play, saying that they were not even invited or offered to play.
They don't even think about rolling out a barrel on the beach, although everything is available for this.
Usually in such hotels, animators pour water on the playgrounds so that the legs do not burn, although there are plenty of hoses with mobile sprinklers. Ask the gardener and do it. They say there are none.
There are activities by the pool: aqua aerobics, zumba, but brief.
In the evening, there are shows conducted by one animation chief (he is a fakir, and lies on the glass, and swallows fire), he also conducts activities by the pool. What the others are doing remains a mystery.
In general, there are a dozen loafers about the animation team. They either walk back and forth with a dissatisfied look, or they smoke. They do not participate in the show, if they go on stage, then with sour faces and barely clap at their own shows. They communicate with selected guests, mainly guests from Britain.
I especially want to mention the animator from Manchester and two Arab guys (I don't know their names), I've never seen them smile or do anything at all to entertain the guests.
On the last day of our stay, the "big boss", Mr. Sami, arrived, and demonstrative "flogging" of employees (all) began.
The waiters started asking what drinks to bring, smiling, the animators running around and trying to communicate with the guests and give the impression of activity. But it was unfortunate, because there was no constant practice before that.
Of the Russian speakers, two girls Svetlana and Diana, Svetlana is very pleasant, Diana obsessively asks to write her a good review in open sources (apparently for the visit of the big boss, which was mentioned above). Both are not doing anything, but at least they are communicating or trying to do it.

A triple room was paid for. They gave me a room on the ground floor with a shower in the "pit" (without figurative meaning) and an armchair instead of a third bed. After much persuasion, the next day for $ 25 they were moved to a decent room with a good view, but still with the same armchair instead of a bed. They promised to change it during the day, but they didn't, they called the reception 5 times and walked with their feet so that it finally happened.

2. He did not send the transfer time to the hotel, we had to look for his phone ourselves, call the reception and find out when he would pick us up.
3. Finally, he took our dry ration for himself, pretending that it was not ours and we did not order it.

Of the declared 5 *, a maximum of 3*. Filth, squalor.
There are no napkins in the dining room (maybe it doesn't matter to someone). You need to pay for everything: cleaning the room - pay, bring mattresses to the beds- pay. Everything is included, while Mahiko and pinacolada are paid!!!
Before going down to the sea, you need to walk 300 m along the pier. Or you can swim at a depth of "knee-deep", but it's so much fun.
Pools deserve special attention. There are a lot of them, but you can not swim in them, because they are apparently intended for hardening walruses. There are many foreigners (especially Poles) who are not loyal to Russians.
The only thing I liked was the territory. Clean, well maintained.

The food is the same everywhere, a lot of people come in, the restaurant turns into a dining room, there are not enough places for everyone to eat in long queues.
