An amazing place about the history of Taraz. As a visitor to this city, I quickly realized that the broad strata of the local population do not know their history well and do not always realize the importance of Taraz in the annals of mankind. Of course, the Soviet ideology did a lot to level the status of Taraz as a symbol of the powerful connection of the Kazakhs with all the civilizations of ancient Turan.
Taraz is the cradle not only of modern Kazakhstan, but also of the entire ancient world of nomads and cities of the Silk Road, the first human settlements, Neanderthals and Cro-Magnons. This is a place of power in which a person has been living for tens of thousands of years(!)
I really liked the museum, I advise both local residents and all guests of the city to go there, as well as anyone interested in studying antiquity, which casts doubt on all our sometimes ridiculous modern dogmas and foundations.
