Our experience in private school: an important issue
Dear parents, I want to share the situation we faced in one of the private schools.
We chose this school so that our children would receive a high-quality education, but, unfortunately, we faced a number of professional and ethical problems on the part of the class teacher.
1. Unfair assessment of the child.
The homeroom teacher constantly underestimated our child's abilities, ignoring his successes and efforts. This undermined his self-confidence and reduced his motivation to study.
2. Discrediting the child.
The teacher repeatedly called our child a “weak student” and shared these remarks with us, the parents. This had a negative effect on his psychological state.
3. Attempts to control parents.
Instead of building a respectful relationship with our parents, the homeroom teacher sought to make us dependent on his opinion, which caused discomfort.
Because of these reasons, we decided to take both our children out of this school. We are extremely disappointed and give this school a low grade. For the money they charge, the quality of educational services absolutely does not meet expectations.
Education is the foundation of our children's future. Every parent wants their child to study with professional and ethically competent teachers.
