A magnificent monument of 15th century Ottoman architecture. It includes a mausoleum and a building for pilgrims. The walls are covered with greenish colored tiles from the inside, hence the name. Wonderful marble carvings. The mosque is located on an elevation above the city center, with a great view from the site. The climb to it is steep, but not long.
The landscaping and architecture are great, the details are impressive, transportation is easy, there is a shortage of parking on busy days. The wonderful work of Çelebi Mehmet.
