Terrible service. The app shows that the train has wagons with A/C and without. You buy a ticket for a wagon with A/C, but when you arrive at the train station, you realize there is no A/C. When you ask to solve the problem, they just tell you your feedback will be reviewed. Terrible service. I noticed more than 10 people on that train also complained that they bought tickets including A/C.
We were traveling from Samarkand to Tashkent by afrosiyab. The impressions are terrible.
Firstly, tickets have become as much as 100% more expensive.
Secondly, they used to give a good set for a snack, now there is only a croissant and tea. Coffee has become a paid service... Are you crazy? Did you raise prices and pinch a snack?
Thirdly, everything in the car creaks, wobbles, the seats are already shabby, the floor covering is very dirty...
Fourth, the conductor who walks with the cart was out of shape... It looks terrible! All conductors must be in shape!
1.5 years ago, I would have added 5+, but now you've gone bad! You won't find train tickets. Everyone is buying up travel agencies... The horror!
The organization is strict with its own rules, in principle, as it should be. The service staff will tell you and explain everything. It was a pleasure to visit.
There would be zero stars, I would even put minus 1. My husband and I bought the most expensive ticket to Afrosiab Tashkent-Samarkand. The ride there was amazing: quiet and calm, there were only 11 seats in the vip carriage, we bought a ticket, of course, in advance. We drove back terribly: we got on the train, Uzbek children in our places - a small mother is less. They asked to remove it - they say that, they say, these are children. I went to the conductor: I got out by force. But that's not all. All the way, the children were jumping and yelling. Their parents didn't make a single comment. So the ticket is for 202 tons. Sum does not guarantee comfort.
of course, the railways themselves are not very good)) the tracks are old ... BUT, the station is clean and modern, the staff is very polite, the trains themselves are excellent, comfortable, high-speed (we used SHARK and Afrosiab). A miracle, not a trip!!
Unfortunately, the management of railways of Uzbekistan does not cope with its functions assigned to it by the state.
Trains are often late for their stations. For example, the Kungrad - Tashkent train may arrive at the Nukus station with a delay of an hour or more.
Also: it is very rare to have tickets on the day of departure or the next day - there are NO tickets, neither SV nor reserved seats.
For example, I have repeatedly tried to buy a railway ticket for the train from Nukus to Tashkent, they say at the ticket offices that there are NO tickets! I take a commercially available compartment ticket to Samarkand, get out, go to the ticket office, buy a ticket for the same train, into the next half-empty carriage and proceed to Tashkent.
A similar story with train tickets:Tashkent -Andijan, there are none! I get to Namangan, and from Namangan the same car goes to Andijan almost empty!
This is because there is no high-quality general system for loading and controlling passengers on trains, selling and booking tickets. Plus, numerous ministries and departments book tickets for themselves in huge numbers, which they then do not sell! They don't do it at their own expense, but for the state! Therefore, the following picture often and constantly occurs: needy citizens- passengers cannot get to the desired point, and the wagons are half-empty.
I have been observing such egregious, repeated cases since last autumn. I have to move around the country a lot for work.
The situation is similar with air tickets! ((
The country's population is growing rapidly (more than 500,000 new citizens annually), and the transport system is not coping.
09/29/22 we boarded the Tashkent Samara train, we had 10 cars, we really liked everything, the conductors were so super, one was aged, and the second was young, unfortunately I did not remember the names, the car was very clean, the toilet was nice to go in, tea sugar was given for free, we drove and did not even notice how time passed in On the way, thanks to the conductors of car 10, well done guys, keep up the good work 💋
Afrosiab trains are good, well, because from Spain, they travel quickly from Tashkent to Samarkand. But the Shark trains are TERRIBLE, old, smell like a toilet, twitch forever when moving!!! Take away these decrepit trains, please!!!
This is the main directorate of the railway of Uzbekistan. More than 2,000 people work here. It solves issues related to the transportation of cargo and passengers that are not solved in regional railway hubs and enterprises...
On the Tashkent - Khiva train in which we boarded in Bukhara, there was a horde of cockroaches in the reserved carriage! My wife was hysterical, crying! It's just not the respect of the head of the train and the conductor for themselves and the passengers. The horror!!!
We traveled by train from Volgograd to Tashkent and back by car7. We went there on April 20 and back on the 1st. The service is good. The conductor is polite and correct (Fahriddin Shamsiev). I got acquainted with the foreman (Salokhiddin Zainutdinov) and appreciated the good work of the conductor. The foreman was pleased for his employee. We talked about the disadvantages - long parking at customs (10 hours - see the schedule), because the wagons are old and you can not use the toilets. But, as Salohiddin (the foreman) said New eco-cars similar to the Tashkent-Samarkand high-speed train will be available soon. So, good luck! I want the 2-hour parking lots to be moved to Samarkand. And passengers would see the ancient capital of Temir Amur. And we would have gone further. Vladimir Zaitsev.
A huge complex of buildings. The main building dates back to the Stalin era. Currently, the building has been restored, and the entire complex is maintained in exemplary order.
The national railway carrier, with its service and modern technologies, is straining here. To work and work on management. Everything is at the level of the 90s.
I don't know about the site, because I was constantly throwing it away, so I decided to call the help desk. The girl who answered me helped a lot))) Thank her very much! I answered all the questions, and also gave additional information! I don't know if everyone there works like that, but I'm lucky!
We were traveling from Bukhara to Tashkent 05.05.19. train 073. On the morning of 05/06/19, about 5 o'clock, the upper shelf on which I was riding broke off from one attachment and fell down. It was only by a lucky chance that there were no casualties. Be careful with waiting for Uzbekistan! We barely survived!
We were traveling with our family from Russia to Tashkent. The trains are very old, the service leaves much to be desired. Everything is very dirty, there is no air conditioning. In summer, it's generally terrible heat.
