Beautiful new hotel, 50 meters from the railway station. There is a supermarket opposite the hotel. On the other side of the pedestrian station. a street with shops and restaurants. Trains run from the station every 10-20 minutes - it takes about 20 minutes to get to Amsterdam Central, round trip is 7.8 euros. Large parking for 10 euros per day. Staying at the Zaan Hotel was a great choice for those traveling to Amsterdam by car. Very soft beds.
