Wonderful central train station with various local and abroad routes. Helpful personnel, clean and cosy terminal and waiting halls. Many places to snack and eat
In the second floor you may find places, where you can have really good and affordable uzbek fast foods. Also, there are good coffee takeaways founded. And, yeah I love dedicated room for mothers with toddler or babies. That is really good. Only minus is car parking.
Nice place! People always rush at the entrance, and staff is helpful. But it would be great if the conductors were more attentive to older adults and children when they needed.
It's all good. In addition, the waiting area needs items that will remind you where the train is going, more clearly and quickly. However, alerts should be improved to know when and where the train will arrive before it arrives. The management in the waiting room should be improved. A simpler and more advanced method is that users who have access to the app should receive alerts, which means that you need to add additional functionality to the mobile app. I think these two improvements will make it more user-friendly for dual-access users.
A very clean, pleasant (surprisingly for a train station) place. The air conditioners are working inside. Trains leave without delay. There are a lot of tourists, all the staff are ready to help. It was nice to wait for my train there.
A clean, tidy train station.but!!!!Very few carts!!!And the ones that are, they're all broken.I've been there three times this summer, with my family and a bunch of suitcases and carry-on luggage. And what a hard, terrible and just unpleasant thing it was that I never got a normal running cart!!!I had to carry everything myself or hire assistants with work carts, of course for a fee. There is a feeling that all this is being done on purpose, and not in favor of the people ((((
The station underwent a good renovation and renovation about 3 years ago. The cleanliness is good, the restrooms are quite decent, there is both a hotel and other amenities on site, including a prayer room - which is important given the flow of tourists from Islamic countries.
An excellent train station for commuter trains in the Tashkent region and trains in the regions of Uzbekistan. The only downside is that the train cars are dirty, it's disgusting to sit inside and it's sooooo hot in the summer.
Beautiful new train station, good building design. The only pity is the ticket office away from the station building. The platform leaves much to be desired. Some kind of incomprehensible guard at the entrance. The train station is a public place and should be absolutely open to everyone. Only those who have tickets are allowed in, the mourners must beg to go together. For so many years they have not been able to find a reliable way to fight hares, since the corruption of conductors is very highly developed, who even in their compartment are not averse to giving passengers a ride.
Overall, everything is fine. The staff is cool and helpful. In my opinion, the busiest train station in the country. It's a lousy toilet. But this applies to all toilets in almost all train stations in the country.
Excellent train station is clean, good staff are friendly. The main thing is to prioritize the observance of disciplines, laws and human rights. I have used the south station many times. In general, as I said, everything is fine.
A wonderful and convenient train station. Comfortable, clean, no smell, no queues, no crowds. VIP cabins, a huge number of seats, the operator speaks clearly and in three languages
Although I was there for the first time, I liked the way the conductor and the conductors met and saw me off, then the station itself is very spacious and clean, most importantly, no mess. However, it's perfect
It became very good at the station after the reconstruction. There is a driveway and Parking for cars. With catering, however, there are small strains for those who arrive and leave late in the evening or at night. But the staff is trying!
A good train station is clean. The main thing is to come earlier, otherwise there will be a crush. Take expensive food and water with you. There is a Vega shopping center opposite the train station, it is better to shop there. Everyone have a good trip, be vigilant 💕🙏
The staff is polite and friendly. The hall for tourists is very comfortable. There is a cafe with delicious national food on the second floor. We enjoy spending time there waiting for the train.
I would like to write probably about the wagons, it's just a thoughtlessly made compartment, who came up with it in general drove himself on the upper shelves
got seats on top and well, the impressions can not be described in beautiful words, of course
Firstly, it is impossible to just climb up because there are no handles that you can hold to lift yourself
Secondly, rude conductors an hour before arrival for some reason began to collect bed linen, and after sweeping it altogether, the air conditioners did not work, they offered a compartment with a conder for a separate amount,
And we also came across places, as they say in a reserved carriage, so there is generally a separate story, for more workload, for some reason we decided to make places near the window between the aisle, so there the person on the top shelf generally has to spend all the time in a supine position "how so?" Why such places?
Seats for sale without tickets
Right before our eyes, the conductor earned by selling a place without a ticket
We kindly ask you to probably do something to make the place more convenient, especially the upper ones, so that the travel time flies by unnoticed and of course it is convenient and probably create rules for those who enter the compartment on the way at stops, since this is also just a horror, there is no culture that others sleep in the compartment, for example. The mourners enter the carriage and shout, not even paying attention to the time, and the fact that others are sleeping and resting
For the first time in the south after reconstruction. It's very beautiful outside. It's not very neat inside. It's a shame that there is no large information board, the sound system also leaves much to be desired. It is impossible to understand what the speaker is saying.
Perhaps one of the most terrible places in the world. Poor tourists who are not used to such a mess . In the waiting room, the air conditioner practically does not work (and this is in Uzbekistan where it is +50) to go from the waiting room to the 2nd way, you need to go underground, there are stairs, poor tourists with huge suitcases on their humps are dragging. We, the children of Uzbekistan, are used to such mockery of the people. But it was a shame for the fragile Japanese and Chinese . When you see a girl with a weight of 42kg looking at these stairs, then she takes her suitcase (20kg) on her shoulder and walks.
