We stayed at this hotel from 02/14/25 to 02/23/25.
The villa.
We lived in a Dolphin Villa with a swimming pool. Villa chic! Sunset side, everything you need inside, even more. The mini-bar is extensive, without charge – cola, sprite, schweppes, a couple of cans of beer, tea, coffee, a bottle of white, a bottle of red wine, for an additional fee.The fee is strong alcohol, chips, nuts, biscuits, sparkling wine, a bottle of white, a bottle of red. They bring a lot of water, twice a day. They put bottles on the bedside table at night, very nice.
All guests are given beautiful beach bags upon check-in (everyone goes with them). The bathroom has perfumed gel, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, and a lot of boxes that we didn't even open. There are two sun beds on the veranda, the 1.2 meter pool itself, a table with chairs, stairs to the ocean and an incredible view. Cleaning twice a day, the villa was always clean.
The villa is large, the interior is very beautiful, there is a lot of space. My parents lived in the same villa, but without the pool, everything else was identical, even the veranda.
Territory.
The island itself is small, and you can walk around the whole island in 15 minutes. Everything is very beautiful, the views are incredible, as from the pictures. There are flying foxes, chameleons, gikons, lizards, and many crows on the territory. There is a path running across the island, with trees along it, creating shade. The villa was located far enough from the island, so sometimes they used the services of a golf cart)) There are a lot of locations for photo shoots.
Food.
There are 5 restaurants and 1 bar on site. Everyone is standing along the shore, taking turns, very convenient. Buffet breakfast + a la carte order at the Sands restaurant, where dinners are held every day, but always different – either themed: Maldivian, Indian, Japanese, etc., or a la carte, according to the menu. Lunch at the pool restaurant was always a la carte, but one page of the menu changed every day.
There are also 2 a la carte restaurants – Italian and Japanese. You can have lunch or dinner in them, and several times during the rest. Italian is the dump of everything! It was incredibly delicious, incredibly beautiful, we ate there twice, licked our hands up to the elbows. Japanese, on the contrary, was extremely disappointing. There are only 12 seats, lunch and dinner with a chef's show program, and an open kitchen. But the food is very mediocre. We were at lunch. It's impossible to eat there, the portions are small, everything is very salty, everything is without meat and fish, the show is so-so. In general, we barely made it to dinner. Because if you eat at an a la carte restaurant, then you can't go to a regular lunch or dinner. And so all the other meals are very diverse and delicious. Especially pasta and meat, which is amazing.
For a fee, we took various lobster dishes - it is, of course, magical!
All restaurants have drinks included – beer, wine, juices, sodas, carbonated and non-carbonated water, coffee, tea, mocktails and cocktails. Alcohol is of high quality, cocktails are not spared. Decent wine, riesling, savignon, chardonnay. There are also drinks for an additional fee.payment.
I will write separately about the underwater restaurant H2O. Very cool, very beautiful, very tasty! Definitely worth the money. There were sharks swimming around, and three rays swam in, all covered in fish. I advise you to take a meat menu – you won't regret it. All drinks, including water, were charged separately.
Activity.
There is table tennis and billiards on site - it was played every evening after dinner before the evening program. There is a rental of snorkeling equipment, kayaks with a transparent bottom. Excursions. We took a dolphin hunt for $85 per person and saw them! I advise everyone! Although they say it's 50/50, but in most cases everyone sees them.We took a snorkeling tour – see all you can – there we swam with manta rays, with turtles and just with a million different beautiful fish. The price is $ 210 per person, but it's worth the trip, especially if you don't dive. The diving center there is not PADI, but SSI, but they also take you to cool places, you can see sharks, manta rays, rays, turtles, huge schools of colorful fish. We did 2 dives a day. The team of instructors there is good, they know their business, they made a steep discount. The spa center also pleased me. First of all, again, everything is very beautiful. We went for an Asian massage 3 times. It usually costs $ 190 for 80 minutes, but very frequent promotions there gave a 15% discount. The massage is done well, they listen to all the wishes for the zones. After the massage, you can go to the hammam, sauna and lie in the Jacuzzi with an incredible view.
The evening program.
Every evening at 22.00 there was something. Either just live music, or DJ sets, or different shows. We went to a karaoke night, a fashion show, a fire show, a Maldivian show. Sitting down to watch in the evening before going to bed is very good. We took hookahs a couple of times. The price is $45 for one flavor, $50 for a mix. It's not bad either, but they don't look like ours.
Underwater world.
The island has life underwater. We snorkeled every day. You just need to swim a little further away. For example, there is a large reef near the breakwater, there are a lot of fish. There are rocks in front of the restaurants, and there are a lot of underwater inhabitants there too. Stingrays, sharks, and large schools of fish were generally seen from the villas. Some even swim to the shore, they are not afraid. But for the most daring snorkelers, I suggest swimming 300 meters to the H2O restaurant, where we swam with sharks and stingrays, which we saw at dinner inside the restaurant. They are baited there, they swim nearby, they don't swim away.
Overall, everything was wonderful. You can take various kinds of romantic dinners, the average price is from 900 to 1,500 dollars, but everything is decorated quite well and atmospheric. There is a Russian-speaking hostess who is always in touch and provides all the information. The Wi-Fi worked well, and it was enough to upload photos and watch movies.
I definitely recommend the hotel, especially for couples))
An amazing place! I want to come back here many more times. I have been here twice, the first time in the Manta Villa room, the second time in the Aqua Deluxe room with a swimming pool. Of course, the second room is much better due to the almost complete absence of current near the villa, you can swim freely there, plus an excellent swimming pool and close access to all restaurants.
The food is mostly on the menu, and it's great! The food is delicious and varied. The ocean is stunningly beautiful, there are few fish, but it was not important for us to have a living reef.
It takes 45-60 minutes to get by seaplane from Male, usually 1-2 additional stops along the way at other hotels, which also depends on how quickly you get to the place.
The staff is excellent, everyone is very smiling and hospitable, the cleaning is super!
In general, I really like everything about this hotel, we will definitely return there again.
This is a very cool hotel! This is not the first time in the Maldives and there is something to compare it with! Everything, absolutely everything for 5 stars!
The water views are very spacious, made of natural materials. The food in the restaurants is very decent. The service is excellent.
The hotel is very suitable for a honeymoon, so we went there.
The ocean is magnificent, a lot of wildlife can be found. I personally swam and met turtles, stingrays, moray eels, sharks and many fish.
I definitely advise you, and I will definitely go to this hotel more than once
