We recently visited Yas Waterworld on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi and were absolutely delighted. This is really one of the best water parks I've ever visited.
The main advantages:
- A huge number of unique slides and attractions
- Entertainment for all ages - from toddlers to adult adventurers
- Excellent security system on all rides
- Clean pools and well-maintained grounds
- The presence of a "lazy river" and a pool with waves
Features of the visit:
- The water park is located in the open air
- The territory is very large, you need to set aside time to move between zones
Small disadvantages:
- There may be queues for popular roller coasters during peak season
- Luggage storage is paid
- The choice of food on the territory is not the most diverse
- Despite the fact that the water park is located in the open air, it can be quite hot during the day. I recommend planning a visit either in the morning or in the late afternoon.
Overall, Yas Waterworld is a great place for outdoor activities. If you are planning a trip to the UAE, you should definitely include it in your itinerary. Emotions and impressions are guaranteed!

🌊 Visited Yas Waterworld with my wife — the impressions were vivid! The park was pleased with its cleanliness, variety of attractions and friendly staff. Special thanks for the fact that at the entrance we were immediately warned about the temporary closure of part of the slides. This, of course, upset me a little, but we appreciate the honesty of the administration — it's better to know in advance.
The remaining slides and recreation areas compensated for this nuance: Dawwama, Liwa Loop and the water "wars" at Yadi Yas amused everyone. Tips for those planning a trip: check the website for up—to-date information about working attractions and come to the opening - there are almost no queues!
Overall, it was a great day, lots of emotions and a desire to come back again to experience everything 100%! 👍💦

What can I say, it's a sin to complain, it's always cool in the water park. There are a lot of sun beds, you can take your own towels or there is a fee. The day will fly by unnoticed. It was 04/14/2025. We bought tickets for the touristino, 295 dirhams per person, lunch is included, we couldn't get on the free bus. Yaz express trains from different emirates run on different days. A taxi from Sharjah in one direction cost 280, and we got there in an air-conditioned Camry, 1.5- 2 hours on the road. In the water park itself, some of the slides were under repair, or after a fire, but some were closed, even as they were particularly lucky, they got to film shoots at lunchtime, and again some of the slides were closed for 3 hours.

It's not bad for kids. If you are a family, and not everyone is riding, you can take a separate tent (cabana), it is very convenient, separate territories, there is a safe in the tent, a refrigerator, towels, 4 sun beds, we were given it on a weekday for free, there is such an option, you can ask for it, if you come around 12, then money is no longer they buy them, apparently, and they offer them that way.

I 've been here since this morning . There are not many people.
2 slides are under repair . the water is warm everywhere.
I drove around all the slides in 2 hours.
I haven't been to the children's area. But I understand that it's really possible to spend the whole day enjoying this moment with children at the water park. A huge second zone is being built nearby , and when it is completed , it will be something . It seems to me that they will take an elevator up to the topmost slides there.
In general, I will give a full 5 stars.

You can leave things, I didn't notice that anyone was interested in them, the box for things is paid, there is a small 25aed, I think the average is 45, I'm sorry if I'm wrong and a large 60aed, we didn't take the box. And these are the cons: with such an entrance price, and it's not small, there are paid booths on the site, it's too much, towels are also paid, about 1200 rubles for one towel for our money, if possible, take your own, but we had 1 for three and we didn't need it, in the heat you dry quickly, but we didn't lie down, sooo bad navigation, you walk like a fool in the heat in search of a slide, it's hard to assess its scale, you can't see the beginning, you can't see how it loops, all the slides are intertwined, there are very scary ones and a lot of them, but this is my subjective opinion, but the average there are practically no slides for cautious children and adults, for example, in Dubai, Lego Land is much better with both slides and location, I recommend it from the bottom of my heart! There are long queues for a trolley that travels at a height through the entire park, we stood for 30-40 minutes, waiting for 10-15 minutes on some slides! We must remember that Friday is women's day! There is a construction site nearby, and the park is actively expanding. So there will be new slides. Free shuttles to the parks run around the island. The best water park I've ever visited.

Now there is a promotion, you buy a ticket, and you can walk on it until the end of January 2025 (they take your fingerprint).
Take a towel with you, because the rent is quite expensive.
Locker (storage room), two sizes. Try it, maybe a small one will suit you. The Chinese don't rent things at all.
There is a security check at the entrance, but they don't really know, they didn't find water and beer :)

My husband and I visited the Yas Water world water park. I want to share my impressions. We really liked it!
It is better to take towels with you, as we read in the reviews that towels are not given out for free, you can only rent them for 40 dirhams or buy them in a store. We didn't see any point in spending money, so we took our towels.
Most people left their belongings just on the sun beds, as the rental of a luggage storage is also paid. We also took 2 sun beds under umbrellas and left our backpacks there, periodically returning and relaxing on the sun beds.
We were very surprised that in addition to the water slides, there is also a 5D cinema and a Bomber attraction (like a roller coaster where your legs hang). We took a ride on the attraction 3 times, I highly recommend it, it's cool! You must also visit the 5D cinema, the sessions are suitable every 30 minutes, the last session is at 17:30, very unusual and fun.
On February 9, 3 attractions did not work (Dawwama (with a bun for 6 people) and 2 attractions by type of surfing), so check on the website before hiking which slides do not work.
The slides are all super! I liked the slides (6 pieces) with snake heads, there you ride buns (double and single).
A very exciting slide Falcons Falaj, where you ride a six-seater bun, I have not seen this before.
We are without children, so we did not visit the children's areas.
There is also an unusual slide where 6 people roll down at the same time (this is a maximum, you can do less) on mats headfirst, it's like a competition, since the time of each participant is indicated at the end of the descent.
We were on Thursday (February 9th), there were people, but there were no queues anywhere. The only thing to consider is that to descend from the Falcons Falaj slide (six-seater bun) you need at least 4 people (or 250 kg), so if you are less than 4 people, then you will not be allowed to pass until a sufficient number of people gather.
Bags are checked before entering the water park, but water was allowed to be carried, while there are drinking fountains on the territory. We hid the bananas in wrapped towels, so we also managed to carry them😀 There are several cafes on the territory, we ate in a cafe under the Bandit Bomber attraction, there is a very tasty set of a burger with a double cutlet, French fries and a drink, it is enough for two, called Bandit burger. I really liked it, it's really delicious! 😋
The temperature of the water. It seemed to us that the water was cold in the 5D cinema and on the Falcons Falaj attraction. In the pool with artificial waves, the water is warm, very good, it's nice to swing on the waves there. In the slow river, the water is also warm, but in places where there was shade, it was cool for me.
The water where you ride buns in the snake area is also warm and comfortable.
We were lying on sun beds in the sun just fine, I even managed to get burned in places.
If it got cold, I covered myself with a towel and it was fine.
Get ready to walk a lot, especially on the steps to climb the slides. Many people walk around the territory in aquashouses. We just had slates, it's convenient that there are shelves on the territory where you can leave your slippers and pick them up later.
There are signs everywhere on the territory, it is convenient, you will not get lost.

Today, on May 8, we visited Yas Waterworld. This place is amazing! There are a lot of slides, there are also some for extreme athletes.

A great place. The purest water. There are many water attractions of different levels - you can go down in a group, you can go down in a couple, you can go down alone. You can - in silence, you can - under the cries of delight, it's more interesting.
There is a long pool in the shape of a river, with a light current and a small waterfall. There is a zone with an artificial wave.
Very friendly staff, lots of free sun beds under umbrellas. Huge parking lot.
There is another amusement park nearby, and a shopping center.

One rollacoaster has nothing to do with water except the splashes of fountains underfoot. 2 slides with six-seater "cheesecakes" are the only worthwhile attractions. 2 ordinary high-speed slides. 6 slides stylized as snakes (almost the entire descent is just in the dark). 1 slide stylized as a competition with a simultaneous start consists of one long turn and one cliff. 1 slide with a hatch opening under your feet also consists of one sharp drop on which it is easy to skin your back if you drive a little because it does not fill with water too abundantly, and one spiral turn (considered the most extreme). That's actually all. 5d didn't try, maybe the whole extravaganza was there. The dead river is like everywhere else. The children's slides could not be evaluated due to the lack of children. There were queues on Sunday that fully corresponded to the estimated waiting time on the signs at each slide of 15-45 minutes. The waves in the main pool are also not particularly different from those in other water parks. "Surfing" is an amateur activity, but it is worth mentioning that this activity takes place in a very small pool. As a result, I won't say that it's not worth coming here at all, but I definitely wouldn't try to persuade anyone to visit here, especially considering the price-quality ratio.
