I contacted this service center with the problem of a broken microphone on the DualSense controller. At first, they said that the microphone was working, and advised resetting the settings. After repeated testing on different devices, I made sure that the problem persists. Upon repeated contact, the staff performed diagnostics again and claimed that the microphone was working on one device and not on the other, citing the need for software updates.
However, I had the latest versions of the software, and the problem persisted. As a result, I tested the controller on another PlayStation and computer – the microphone did not work. I also tested the functioning of a serviceable controller with my PS and the microphone works on it. I filmed and sent a video with the evidence, but there was no response. When the device was returned to the service center, they performed diagnostics again, but insisted that the microphone was working properly, although in fact it did not work. The staff constantly violated deadlines, did not call back, and I had to remind myself. I felt that the staff was not interested in solving my problem and wanted to get rid of me as soon as possible. As a result, the controller was returned with the same problem, and no real repairs were made. I note that the controller is under warranty.
Absolutely incompetent service with substandard service. I do not recommend contacting them if it is important for you to get a real solution to the problem.
