The city of Boca Chica itself is nothing special. Huge German, American and other hotels.
The city is dirty, dirty children jump out from under cars in parking lots with outstretched hands as they approach.
The hotel is very tired, it resembles Cuban hotels. The food does not indulge in special delights, but it is quite tolerable.
The rooms are spacious, the furniture is old, but it still holds up. If you need comfort, you are not here.
But nature has created, precisely in Boca Chica, a gorgeous bay, fenced off from the sea by a reef spit, thanks to which high waves are extinguished. This beach is considered the best in the Caribbean. The entrance to the sea is shallow. The hotel is right on the shore.
The water is clean, and crabs, small fish, and starfish scurry along the bottom.
Sellers of seafood, tortillas and other things walk along the beach. They are periodically chased away, they are not allowed on the territory of the hotel.

We had a rest in 2019. Incredibly cool, still vivid impressions!
The 3- and 4-star hotel (different buildings).
The food is good, and so is the alcohol. The sea and beaches are beyond praise!
It is difficult to convey the atmosphere - you need to personally feel it.

Прекрасный отель, отличная кухня. Близко к морю, отличное море бирюза, песок жёлтый, волн нет. Два бассейна, бесплатные снейки и бары с коктейлями. Анимация целый день, много зелени.завтраки, обеды, ужины норм,фрукты всегда маракуйя, папайя, ананасы, арбузы, дыни, мандарины, бананы, яблоки. Часто рыба, мидии, кальмары, всегда есть курица, говядина превосходная, свинина. Мороженое на обед. Каши, супчики, йогурты, колбаса, сыр. Мне понравилось. Особенно, конечно, море. На антлантике холод, волны и ветер. А мы на Карибах купаемся и ззагораем. Кто-то недоволен номером. Но я покупала номер с видом на море, это так называемые капитанские номера, абсолютно безупречный. И сантехника работала, и вода всегда. Уборка номера, кстати просторного с балконом ежедневно. Проблемы создаём мы сами, толпясь в очередях за едой. Мелочи решаем. Персонал вежлив. Лежаков много, но я все же занимала самые лучшие места рано утром вдоль забора
