A good hotel, but keep in mind that you need to take toothpaste from home, they give you 1 bottle of water ... you need to ask at the reception ... by the way, they will give you how much you ask! The prices are crazy... it's better to have breakfast in the city, it's an American chain and they don't cook what you would like to try in France. ! The room has a window in the wall of the neighboring building ... and it's for 400 euros/ day ...! Great location in the center!
It is ideal to take a room with a view and admire the tower. The rooms have not been renovated for a long time, but the location and service and the view from the window cover these shortcomings.
Your own **** The Westin Paris - Vendome deserves and justifiably confirms both the design and the services. An extremely advantageous location is right in front of the Tuileries Garden. From the room window, you can see both the Louvre in the vicinity and the Eiffel Tower in the distance. Two metro stations are a few steps away. Within walking distance are the Champs-Elysees, the Opera, and the Musee d'Orsay across the river. The room turned out to have a high ceiling, a huge mirror, a fireplace, a plasma TV, an iron, and a bathroom with marble trim. The king-size beds were pushed apart at our request, because we spent spring holidays in the capital of the country of the studied language with our teenage son – in such a long-ago pre-modern era. Prices at the TUILERIES bar and LE FIRST restaurant are high, of course (as is indecently expensive and the very accommodation in a superior room). But the opportunity to drink tea/ coffee or taste onion soup and tartare at almost any time of the day was pleasing. And the waiter's mistake, because of which a glass of white wine for € 12 in the bar bill suddenly turned into a bottle for € 64, was considered an annoying misunderstanding. In general, we were satisfied with our 10-day stay in a hotel in the heart of Paris. Cozy, respectable, refined, elegant, pleasant atmosphere, classic interiors with a special charm and flair of antiquity (although the furniture and plumbing are already tired), elegant floral arrangements (as in the photo), courteous staff, helpful concierges
