A good hotel, located within the old town, close to attractions such as the Maiden Tower, the Juma Mosque, and the market square. Primorsky Boulevard is within walking distance. The rooms are spacious and bright. I stayed at this hotel 2 times. Rooms on the 2nd floor 51 and 52 have balconies, the view from them is magnificent. The staff is helpful and will always help you with any question. The rooms have a refrigerator with a bar, a kettle, disposable hygiene items, slippers, a standard set of towels, and a terry bathrobe. The breakfasts are standard and portioned.
The only advantage of the hotel is its location, the very heart of old Baku. Very convenient location, everything is within walking distance. We took a room for 3. For adults, a good, comfortable bed, the 3rd cot is just a horror, only springs, it is impossible to sleep. The main disadvantage is the so-called breakfasts. It's a complete mess. Gentlemen, well, it's impossible, is it really impossible to organize everything culturally and conveniently, considering that only 12-15 people have breakfast? You come, you sit down at the table and, ideally, you should be served by a waiter and set the table, but in fact, if you are late, for example on an excursion, you can't have breakfast quickly. The waiter arrives at about 9:00, and an elderly woman serves him before him. The table is not set, you want to go get spoons and forks, she screams sit down at the table, you sit and wait for her to serve others. Then he just throws forks and spoons on the table, he throws them, not puts them on napkins. And the sneeze begins. No one says that you can order an omelet or scrambled eggs, then you realize that you can make an order. They bring yoghurts (chemical), olives, 2 slices of cucumber, sausages, jam butter, half of it is not eaten because it is tasteless. You can also make a mini buffet and people will choose what they will eat, rather than waiting 30 minutes for this plate to be brought to you, then you sit and wait for tea/ coffee. In short, it's just a complete mess, terribly inconvenient and long. They speak Russian at the reception, which is a plus.
Sunny greetings from a lovely hotel in the center of the old city in Baku! A small, cozy, clean hotel. Bathrobes, slippers, kettle. It was cold in the room in February, especially in the bathroom. The air conditioner was turned on for heating. The balcony is gorgeous. Morning chants from the mosque nearby
There seems to be a lot of breakfast, but it gets boring during the week, especially the inattentiveness and slowness of the kitchen and waiters.
And sound insulation... Through the door, you can hear all the conversations in the hallway, even in whispers, you can hear the elevator, footsteps on the stairs...
You would come back again-more likely no than yes.
