We went with the guide Daut to the Ritz, alpine meadows and mountain lakes. Comrades, it was the most amazing day in Abkhazia. Daut did not rush us anywhere, chose the best routes with a minimum number of people, recommended places and activities along the way, promptly negotiated on the ground about renting catamarans, ziplines, and horses. He gave me cash if I didn't have enough, along the way he told me the history of Abkhazia and the places we pass through, answered many questions about the country and culture. And in the end, he took us to a wonderful restaurant, where for the first time in our entire vacation we were satisfied with everything: the interior, service, serving, taste, price.
The tour went well beyond the set time, and Douthat continued to delight us with beautiful places, interesting stories, good music in the car and funny jokes.

We are very grateful to Alkhas for the interesting excursions he conducted. We went on two excursions with him: to the Musser Nature Reserve, to the abandoned city of Akarmary and to the waterfalls. Alkhas knows the history of Abkhazia and local customs very well.

We have already ordered a transfer several times from Sochi airport. In 2022, we were taken to Pitsunda, in 2023 to New Athos and in 2024 to Gagra, each time everything is clearly as indicated on the website, no additional costs, the car is on time, always clean, in good technical condition. On request, you can make a stop at the store on the way. We advised our friends, they ordered, but the flight was delayed for an hour, they were waited for, they did not take any additional payment. We bought an excursion to Welcome Abkhazia and were left with unforgettable impressions. We were in Abkhazia for the first time. There are a lot of tables with representatives of tour bureaus with the same prices on the streets of Gagra. However, I read reviews on the Internet and came to the conclusion that they sell about the same service - a tour with a bunch of boring stops - tastings, shops, etc. We value our time and we needed to spend it with optimal benefit. Therefore, I found an agency with a lot of positive reviews, so as not to buy a pig in a poke. All the reviews turned out to be true. We bought a tour to Akarmara and waterfalls. A wonderful Daut driver picked us up in a jeep at 6 a.m., and we returned about 21 hours. The cost of the tour is 3,500 per person, we had two families in a jeep and the tour turned out to be almost individual, since we made the decision unanimously, being strangers to each other. As a result, we managed to see the ghost town of Akarmara (by the way, people still live there), the stunningly beautiful Tkuarchal (I would stay there for a couple of days to walk and study architecture), Irina waterfalls, Giant, some more, plus another waterfall, I don't remember the name, not they are grandiose, but much more cozy, because there are fewer people there and you can safely get close to them, as well as eat in a delicious cafe. We looked at the Sukhum embankment, the hot geyser and even got to the Athos cave on the way back, which was an awesome bonus for us, for which we are infinitely grateful to the patient and hardy Douthat. This man literally MADE our trip amazing. During the ride, Daut told us about Abkhazia, its customs, and the sights that we passed through. It was interesting. We saw virgin Abkhazia, its meadows, rivers, cows standing on the highway, mountains with snow on top. I will separately note the off-road terrain in the mountains, where jeeps drove almost onto a vertical surface, over such potholes and potholes that I would never have thought that a car could drive over them. Time was unlimited, as with bus tours - we agreed with two families how long we would walk around each place. I do not know how Daut survived such a long day at the wheel, he does a real feat every time. We are extremely glad that we bought a tour at this agency and went with Daut. People, choose Welcome Abkhazia, we will now travel only with them. Guaranteed quality. I will keep the Date number until the next trip.
