One of the best hotels in my opinion. Of course, there are hotels that are much more expensive and pretentious, but I don't need that. There is a beautiful sea and a homely reef, good rooms, very polite and attentive staff, delicious almost homemade food and a very well-groomed and green area. There is another plus, the concept of the hotel is not all inclusive, alcohol does not flow freely, of course, it is available in bars and in the evening those who wish to drink a little. And in the morning, all the vacationers who are going diving, who are running kayaking, and the rest are swimming on the reef or sitting in the lagoon. A 20-minute walk to the south of the hotel, mangroves begin, there are many birds and beautiful landscapes completely unlike the Egyptian desert, and behind the mangoes there is a kayaking club. A little further south is a nice bay with a sandy entrance to the water and a shallow depth and grass on the bottom that turtles eat, sometimes a dugong swims, large stingrays live, there are also several reefs (near the shore there is a round tomato, and a little further there is a beautiful banana reef 300 meters long). It's wonderful to wake up early in the morning, make a cup of coffee, take a camera and meet the dawn with a cigarette sitting on a sunbed by the sea. I don't want to call myself an expert on Egypt, but I've definitely vacationed on the Red Sea 15 times. I've been to Taba, Dahab, Sharma, Hurghada, Safaga, Soma Bay, Sahl Hashish and the vicinity of Marsa Allama five times, but most of all I like the sea. I've already been here twice near Berenice and I'll definitely return more than once.. Maybe for someone, it's important that there are animators, discos and lots of alcohol here, and the city with parties and shops is very far away, this hotel is designed for a quiet relaxing holiday, you can always retire here and be at one with nature.

A very nice hotel. The first time was in autumn 2018. Now there is no opportunity because of the child's studies, so we go in the summer. 2024 during this time, a new building was opened, which was only under construction in 2018. The dining room is still very good, there are no peppery dishes like in many other hotels, there is always beef, chicken and fish. Alcohol is still paid for 4 € a bottle of beer (we diluted the coke with whiskey brought from duty and we had enough). There is no animation as such, there are small performances of artists (dancing) in the dining room at dinner. There are not many people in the summer, I would say half as many as in the season. Now about the sea, the week while we are here is almost always calm, the coral is not as bright as in 2018there are few large fish compared to Hurghada coral beach. But there is a barracuda about a meter long and a moray eel 1.5-2 meters. I swam with a turtle. Unfortunately, I did not find the octopus, I was in 2018. Fish are mostly kindergarten, there are very few large fish. If I had to choose between hurghada coral and azur, I would now choose coral beach. The fish are bigger there and the reef is comparable, unless of course you swim at the pier.

A quiet hotel with no animation. Germans and Italians are mostly retired vacationers. The meals are all inclusive without alcohol. Alcohol is paid for. There is no lagoon, the corals are bad. There are interesting fish
