It's not a bad hostel by Istanbul standards, you need to ask for a towel, but I had my own, the sky bar is open until 12 at night, there aren't a lot of people there in the evening, introverts. The breakfasts are monotonous, but they are in the form of a buffet, the staff is good and responsive, the locker was buggy 2 times in 4 days, the person behind the counter helped me open it. The guests are People from all over the world, many from CIS countries. I lived here for 4 days, then moved into a room rented at airbnb, since I can't stay in such crowded places for a long time. I recommend taking earplugs and sleep masks to such places
For the hostel, everything is fine, the shower is always free, it was clean, it is better to carefully inspect the pastel, I can also offer the old one, but they easily move to another one. The staff is ready to help with everything, there are private rooms, breakfast with a wonderful view of most of the city. The food is normal without much choice, but generally fine. In the evening, there are parties in the bar, a lot of foreigners, I recommend it.
I was very unlucky with my neighbors - they smoked, drank, and made noise. The administration turns a blind eye to this.
Overall, an interesting, clean, pleasant hostel.
Among the disadvantages are very poor sound insulation, small rooms (as if everything is on top of each other), a "buffet" - very conditionally, they give portions under the signature.
Among the advantages - clean, nice, very good location at Taksim.
But I'll prefer a hotel room for the future.
