Overall a very nice guest house. Amazing view from the mountain to the whole city of Gagra. There is always a fresh breeze from the mountains, in the evening it is especially good when it is hot in the city, there is always a light cool breeze. The air conditioners were almost not turned on, there is no point. Everything is clean, neat. Of the minuses, only the distance from the sea, this should be taken into account, 3 km. On foot, by trails, to the sea for 40 minutes. Back, uphill for a little more than an hour. But, the owner drives back and forth, morning and evening!) Well, minor flaws in the number, such as dropped sockets and burned-out light bulbs in the chandelier. There is a summer kitchen (August 2023). But the owner promised to make a full meal.

Excellent hotel, July 24. the courtyard is being completed, there will be a swimming pool + bar. The view from the balconies is mesmerizing, the sea, delta gliders, Sochi is visible, beautiful, parking is large, the gates are closed at night! The owner is a sincere person, I recommend it, the price is lower than the market!

Everything is fine, the rooms are decent, the view is amazing. The only thing to consider is that you will most often go up and down this mountain yourself, so you will spend money on taxis. There are also two street dogs in the kitchen, one of which is very big, the dogs are always hungry, so get ready that they will sit next to your table and look into your mouth. Everything else is fine 👍👌

A very cool place!
Everything is new and fresh. Clean, the cleaning is excellent every three days. The bed linen pleases with freshness.
And what views open from this hotel! It just can't be described in words.
Yes, it's a long way to the sea. But this view is worth it. You won't see this near the sea.
We like places like this.
Plus, the host helps vacationers to go down to the sea in the morning and in the evening to climb back by car

We rested with our spouse in the guest house Vzgorye from 08/22/2022. Staraya Gagra is the best place to relax in Abkhazia. I liked everything very much! There are many attractions nearby: the famous Gagripsh restaurant, the Oldenburg Monastery; Abaat Fortress, the Gagra Museum of Local Lore; "White Rocks" and many more interesting things. The responsive host, a chic room with a wonderful view! The guest house is located on a mountain, so the owner takes it and picks it up from the sea. The sea is the purest! But this is exactly the place I was looking for, to enjoy the beautiful view while breathing in the mountain air. Mustafa, thank you for the rest!

Beautiful nature, unfortunately that's all (In Abkhazia, the beginning of the 2000s , there are no supermarkets, garbage on the roads.Everything is very expensive . Careful with food in public catering.I poisoned myself so much that I thought I was going to die.It was at this address that rooms were rented, the view is very beautiful on the sea and mountains, the hotels are clean. Polite and good-natured hosts. It is better to shoot there in your own car.Taxis are expensive. To get far and high on foot)The transfer carries only at certain times.

Nice, new, clean hotel! Very friendly and generous host. I was with my family by car, so the distance to the beach in Gagra did not bother me. The hotel has an excellent location, on a hill, coolness in the evening and morning, silence. And we went swimming to the beach in Pitsunda (half an hour by car) near a Pine grove, an amazing place and the purest water. There are problems with electricity, but somewhere between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. If you get up late, you don't notice. In general, I recommend the hotel and I will try to come back myself 👍

The hotel is located on a mountain, the distance to the sea is about 3 km. There is not a single grocery store near the hotel, let alone a pharmacy. To buy something from the products, you need to walk 6 km., and the way back will be uphill. There is a small shop of wine and vodka products, but there, for example, bread on order. The hotel owner arranged the transfer. In the morning from 9.00 to 10.00 and in the evening from 19.00 to 20.00
This is certainly wonderful. But when we got ready for the tour, we warned him that we needed to be at a certain place at 9.30. It started to rain. We stood under the umbrella, he never came out. We didn't get on the tour. Of course, I had to run and look for him, beg him. You are on your own in the hotel, there is no one to ask, to find out something. You need to make an effort. We're the ones who came on vacation. They did us a favor.
I gave one star for the cleanliness of the room and the availability of hot water with WiFi. However, they can turn off the lights and all these services will disappear.
