An interesting place. There is an exposition in the hall with a miniature railway, along which the train is moving - it will be interesting especially for children. Also, the locomotives themselves in the open air are impressive in scale - the boys will definitely like it. Steam locomotives of different eras and destinations. There are cafes and toilets on site. The Brest Fortress is nearby.
One of the disadvantages is that you cannot climb inside the wagons (although it is very curious).
I really liked it. I especially liked the layout. And the exhibition of "signal lights". As a person who loves railway themes and transport, I am delighted!
Great place) I liked the exposition) Some exhibits can be entered inside)
On the territory there is a small history museum, a snack shop, WC)
I was lucky to see the Victory train )
We went specially from Minsk to see the museum. I really liked the steam locomotives in the section. It was interesting to see the inside. Unfortunately, it was not possible to go into everything and feel like a machinist. We were satisfied with the trip.
I was probably 6-7 years ago. It was cooler... It was possible to climb and enter the locomotives. It was interesting. Now almost everything is closed... I would like a description and characteristics of the exhibited equipment. There is no such thing... Although it's a museum... The approach is White. Railway... But it's probably worth a visit. There are gorgeous examples of steam locomotives.
A great place to relax. The child was delighted. The only thing is that there are few open exhibits. The railway model fits well in the covered pavilion. There is a cafe, there are tables on the street.
It is interesting, especially for children. You can climb into the cabins, but not all of them. An interesting exposition with toy trains inside the museum building.
Definitely worth a visit for both an adult and a child at least once. Interesting stories, an opportunity to look inside steam locomotives, an exhibition with dynamic stands - all that is required for a good impression of the museum.
We took the child to the Brest fortress, and on the way we came across this museum. We really liked it. A large number of ancient steam locomotives, in some you can enter the driver's cabin, wooden ladders are attached to some cars so that you can climb up and look into the car through the window. There is a small pavilion with an exposition on the topic. We were delighted. The child was barely taken away.
The Museum of railway Transport was the most interesting for children. There you could climb on trains and mentally navigate during the fighting. And the most fascinating was the layout of the railway, where trains went over bridges.
One of the best museums in Belarus. Very informative. The concept is thought out to the smallest detail. It is noticeable that it was created by real fans. There is a cafe, a toilet, places to relax after climbing locomotives.
A great museum! There are a lot of railway equipment, cabins are open in some trains and steam locomotives, which makes you feel like a machinist. Everything can be touched and examined, we are very sorry that we did not take the tour. The cafe has air conditioning and cool water, which helped us a lot on a hot summer day.
I recommend you to visit and advise you to take a guided tour! The girl gave us a great tour of the exhibits, told us a lot of interesting things and even led us into a carriage from the 1930s! It is very interesting for both adults and young travelers!
A beautiful open-air museum. It was very interesting to see the trains of our time, as well as the steam locomotives of the early and mid-twentieth century. It is very good that they were not scrapped
an interesting museum for children and adults.
there is a jar of steam locomotives with access inside, there is
an hour and a half of time in the context of viewing the device, it will be interesting!
It is worth a visit, especially with children.
Children will like it more than a fortress.
There are good exhibits in the museum building, mini trains go.
The best impressions.
Cheaply. 6 p adult
A good memorable place, but.... The hand of the crappy business executives is felt. It could have been done much better and more interesting. For my son and me, there was not enough access to the carriages, because it would be possible to restore the contents and it would be much more interesting, this was expected when we arrived here, but we had to be content with walking between trains and not having a place to eat... The buffet is just a name... There is water to drink and it is in a place for tourists... In a nutshell, the Brest Fortress and this museum are one disappointment from how it looks and how it could be done if someone had the brains and desire.
A very interesting exposition, you can also touch it with your hands, even climb inside, feel like a machinist)

A place where you just want to be a child. Almost all trains and locomotives were filmed. And there is a lot of excitement when you remember the movie where they were involved)
A wonderful pavillon, you can have a snack, buy souvenirs, and for children there is a work stand with copies of steam locomotives from which children squeak with delight)
It's a good place. There are many miniatures.
I visited the institution on 03/25/21, which means that at the moment when you read this review, the situation in the institution may be different
